1 1 I'm alive?

The year is 2020, cars are together creating a chorus of 'honkers' on the streets of New York under the night filled with dozens of street lights. Everyone has just finished with their work ready to go home and enjoy a nice bath and frozen dinner food however, the road is blocked by a bright red Nissan at one glance you can tell the car is brand new at another glance you can tell it is the car holding up the huge traffic. The owner of the car appears to have passed out with his head pressing against the horn creating an endless string of 'honkers' and thus creating a scene similar to two ducks arguing with each other. the car behind the bright red Nissan is unable to hold it in anymore he got out of his red truck and started yelling at the owner of the Nissan car

"HEY YOU SON OF A B*TCH CAN'T YOU SEE YOUR'E HOLDING UP A TRAFFI-"

Before he can finish his sentence he caught a glimpse of the person in the driver seat it was an old man Chinese, and around the age of 60 in a black suit with a ring on his hand but the most important part about this old man is although he is passed out his skin is gradually turning blue as if he is suffocating from a lack of oxygen.

"H-Hey are you alrigh-"

The angry driver of the red truck now has an expression filled with fear and quickly goes to reach for the passed out old man however when his hand reached half way he felt a burning sensation and quickly drew back his hand only to realize there is a set of teeth marks and blood oozing out. His face quickly contorted as he quickly put his hands away into his pockets and look back to the old man only to find the old man no longer in the drivers seat.

The now fearing for his life truck driver quickly glanced to his left only to see an extremely terrifying scene.

The old man has his limbs twisted in an unnatural way is crawling around on all fours eyes hollow with no trace of the pupil the hair has completely fallen of the head is leaping towards the nearest person it can hear. its leaping speed can be said to be extremely fast almost as fast a leopard hunting for his prey. biting into a young women who appears to be in her early 20's in a red dress whose scream sounded like a drowning raven trying to stay afloat.

'squack'

The truck driver and the pedestrian surrounding him was stunned silent for a second their minds are blank and there is only one thought on their mind

"What the fu*k is going on?"

They didn't stay there for long because the old ma- no that thing can no longer be called old or man it is more fitting to call it a monster is leaping towards them having finished the red dress women who now has a giant hole in her brain region and has a green vein protruding out on many different parts of a body with the skin turning slightly blue similar to the first monster as if turning into one of them.

"AAAAAAAAAH"

A women in her late 40's wearing a grey dress with a marriage ring silver mixed with a little gold in her hand and a pair of earrings which looks similar to a crescendo of a moon started screaming at the ugly site and her scream jolted all those around her awake. Some try to start the engine of their car intend to drive other while others abandoned their car and made a break for it.

As for the women in her late 40's she wasn't so lucky her scream appear to have attracted the attention of monster #1 who now leaps toward her at full speed. She tried to make a run for it but to no avail as she is caught by her neck with the rotten teeth of the monster in a black suit as she try to scream again her throat was bitten off by the monster as if telling her to shut the fu*k up it appears the monster really hates women who screams all the time.

Now cars that are on the road are skidding because everyone is in a state if fear and panic they disregard traffic rules and the cost of that is cars running into housing, apartment complex, and nursing facility's. 'Honkers' are going wild however now its for a completely different reason car alarm sounded unceasingly if anyone were to see this scene they would think its the end of the world. People are screaming profanity while many other are fearing for their life.

"AAAH"

"SOMEONE HELP ME"

"HAS ANYONE SEEN MY CHILD"

"F*CK"

"WHAT THE FU*K IS GOING ON WITH THE WORLD"

At this moment a young man at the age of 18 seemingly obese and at one glance you can tell he is a person who doesn't go out much is oblivious of what happening right outside his bedroom window at the 3rd floor of apartment 969. Fang Tian is currently laying in bed scrolling down his social media looking at memes and would close out from time to time looking for new novels to read.

"god dam isn't tonight a little too noisy"

He wanted to go pull out his earplugs but too lazy to get out of bed

"whatever it should go away eventually probably just a car crash"

He decided to tuck his head and ignore everything that is going on in the outside world. The noise to have died down after half a hour however there is still some car alarm going off which died down 10 minutes later Fang Tian was about to pull his bed cover sheets down until he heard a sound of glass breaking from the direction of his window which is at the opposite end of the room from his bed. Fang Tian sucks in a cold breath of air. He thought

'A robbery? Oh my dear god I literally have nothing in my possession of value for you to rob'

Suddenly he felt a bad premonition

'D-Did he come for my anime figurines fu*k I knew I should have tried to hide them better'

the more he thinks about this situation the more he felt isn't right

'T-This is the 3rd fu*king floor of my an apartment how in world did he get up here i-it can't be that they had this planned out days in advance and the person who lives above me is in collab with them? Fu*k i knew someone who blast rock music late at night is up to no good'

Fang Tian took a moment to sigh inwardly but then he felt that something isn't right

'Wait why isn't he blasting rock music tonight and the streets have turned oddly quiet in fact isn't this too quiet to be true for a street in New York on a Friday?'

Fang Tian felt a bad premonition he opens a little gap with his blanket which folds him like an omelette only too see a hollow eyed blue skinned creature donned in a black suit is staring in his direction Fang Tian wanted to scream but he forcibly suppressed it by covering his mouth with both of his hands. After a while in which he forces himself to calm down however his body still trembled as he thought to himself

'what in the world is that monster'

As Fang Tian was busy thinking about the monsters origin the blue skinned monster walks towards his direction Fang Tian was startled and his heart he was thinking

'get the hell away from me! please'

as he begged in his head the monster is now an inch away from his bed Fang Tian is almost at his limits as he closed his eyes thinking

'i guess this is it huh all my 18 years of life gone to waste in an event i anticipated the most'

but just as the monster was about to approach another step a voice seem to be heard from the outside yelling

"I AM NOT GOING DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT COME AT ME YOU STUP*D BLUE SMURF KNOCKOFFS"

A man which looks like he is in his late 40's in a grey suit with a ring on his hand that is mixed with silver and gold screamed at the sea of blue monsters the black suited monster heard the provocation and immediately leaped out of the third room window landing into the middle of the blue monsters with at least 100 of them in the center the jump created an impact that could knock any normal adult off his feet however it didn't even slightly affect the blue monsters.

"I WILL PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO MY WIFE"

the man once again screams as he charges up to the nearest blue monster and starts fight whether it was by coincidence or fate or maybe even the authors pity a women whom looks to be in her late 40's with a grey dress which is now covered in blood her head only has one ear but it is visible that there is a crescendo moon earring barely hanging off the half bitten ear she is now crawling on all fours in which the man can see even though half of her entire hand is missing a ring made out of silver and gold on one of the fingers in her left hand.

the man with the grey suit slowly mumbles out the words with a trembling voice

"G-Grace?"

the so called Graces bites into the mans shoulder as if not being able to hear what he said at all and starts munching him like a snack however instead of pushing his wife now monster away he pulls her into a deep embrace.

"I don't care how you look I don't care if your'e a man eating monster and I don't even care if you understand me or not as long as we can be together forever in this world it is all I need"

the man said as his final wisp of life fades into darkness the monster named Grace slowly pulls her head back her face is now wet even the blood only splashed onto her mouth and neck she slowly slide her hand together the dead man and closed her eyes as if taking a deep long nap a nap in which she will never wake up from.

after this event the monster scatter running around searching for any potential survivor as for the black suited monster he had long forgotten where he was originally searching and is heading towards a different path.

After 1 hour of tucking in bed Fang Tian slowly pulls his head out from the cover sheets looks around his surrounding carefully and slowly walks towards his windows as he arrived safe and sound at his window he looked outside not a single trace of human or monster can be seen in the streets of New York even though the streets were supposedly bustling at this time after examining around for a few more times he heaved a heavy sigh of relief but suddenly his heart jerk as something from upstairs flew down and into his bedroom window it was a man in his mid twenties with bizarre piercing and a shirt that says 'I LOVE ROCK' landing directly on him.

Fang Tian could only say "shi-" as the rock loving man bit into his neck blood flowed out unceasingly like a river with a broken dam and his last thought was

"fu*k i forgot about this guy"

as his vision slowly fades to black

fully resign to fate Fang Tian kept his eyes close and waited for death to take him into its embrace Fang Tian waited

ten minutes.....

twenty minutes.....

thirty minutes.....

he waited and waited but death never came Fang Tian slowly opened his eyes only to find his surrounding completely dark with not even a shred of light

'is this what heaven looks like wait Fang Tian who are you fooling you really expect heaven to take you in with what you have done'

Fang Tian scanned the surrounding but it is all the same pitch black no light at the sight of this he frowned

'this doesn't look like heaven nor hell its more like a cave'

He pinched himself since he thought he is dreaming

"owww it appears to not be a dream either what the hell is going on"

although Fang Tian isn't sure where he is but he is damn sure of one thing

"I'm alive?"

he said with a questioning tone containing some hints of relief
