Chapter 3: Cultivation(1)
"So receiving memories can be this painful." Liang rubbed his temple in exhaustion. Although the process was not long it was incredibly painful.

Her robe, which seemed to be crafted from finest silk, shimmered in sunlight giving her an otherworldly aura. The fabric flowed gracefully around her slender frame , accentuating her graceful figure and subtle curves.
A subtle fragrance of Jasmine and sandalwood emanates from her, creating an atmosphere of calm serenity.
As Liang Chen continued to stare, the woman spoke, her voice calm and melodic, Yet firm and commanding.
"Drunk chick? How dare you address the leader of Divine Blossom Pavilion with such disrespect!" Her voice turned icy, a stark contrast to her playful demeanor like before. "Do you have any idea who you're talking to?"
Liang Chen's eyes widened in astonishment. He couldn't fathom how the playful "drunk chick" had transformed into such an imposing woman in mere minutes. Her icy tone sent a shiver down his spine, and he knew he had made a mistake.
"Damn!" he thought to himself, frustration bubbling inside him. "The internet is full of lies! They say women take hours to change, yet here she is."
Liang Chen quickly collected himself and bowed deeply, attempting to rectify his error. "My apologies, Leader Mei. I was unaware of your true identity."
Despite his outward composure, Liang Chen couldn't help but silently grumble. "Women are like the weather, truly unpredictable and quick to change."
"Humph! You'd better be careful with your words from now on," Mei Lin snorted, her displeasure evident in her icy stare. However, beneath her stern facade, a different thought bubbled up.
"Hoho! This contrast in looks never fails. It doesn't matter if the target is male or female, old or young," she mused with a smug smile playing on her lips. "Years of practice have perfected this art."
"Liang Chen, I trust you understand why you're in the Celestial Harmony Sect," Mei Lin's gaze pierced into his eyes. "Your father made a deal with me for your acceptance without an entrance test."
'Back door, huh?' Liang Chen acknowledged with a slight nod.
"However, joining the esteemed Divine Blossom Pavilion, as you so eagerly requested…" Mei Lin's lips twitched, a hint of amusement at his fervor.
"Requires passing a test. It will be held in two days. Be prepared. You can only become a part of the Divine Blossom Pavilion if you pass. Otherwise, you'll remain a regular member of the Celestial Harmony Sect."
"The test's nature will be revealed on the day itself. Do you have any questions?" Mei Lin finished, her eyes expectant.
"No!" Liang Chen decided, knowing nothing would be gained by asking. Who knew what consequences it might have?

Liang Chen carefully closed the door and walked toward the bed and sat on it.
"Now what?" Liang sat on the bed cross legged and fell into deep thought.
"I have to give a test to enter Divine Blossom Pavilion. And I have no memories on why I need to join the Celestial Harmony Sect." Liang Chen felt his past was shrouded in mystery as he had no clue about it.
