Chapter 1: new world

The moment the man woke up he saw the ceiling of a unknown room, light was coming from outside so he could infer that it should be day time.

He needed to gauge out where he is, to know his next steps

His thoughts gathered quickly, the first step he had to accomplish is to look around and secure his perimeter.

As he was about to look around, he suddenly heard quick steps approaching from outside his room

Quickly he decided to close his eyes and adjusted his breathing to show that he was sleeping, he knew from a book he had read before that he should lower his breathing frequency to about 15 breaths per minute.

A few seconds later the door opened and a man entered, with a frame of 189 centimeters and muscles like a bull his steps loud like a earthquake approaching, until he stood right before the bed.

His gaze penetrated the little body lying down.

"Who do you want to fool, little boy?" His voice was resonating in the air, anyone would have been nervous facing such a man.

No, it would be more likely to be described as a beast.

The boy was unmoved and continued with his little charade

The man spoke again with a calm but loud voice "Kain, if you don't stand up in 10 breaths, I will destroy this entire room and hang you up infront of the city to be beaten down and tortured"

The boy, who now had his name revealed knew that only if he stands will the chance for survival open up.

Kain quickly followed what the man said and continued to speak under his breath "Sorry sir, I felt very sick out of nowhere".
