Chapter 39: Introduction
Jun recalled the first time he changed clothes, it was a strange feeling seeing his member different than in his previous world. No transmigrator ever talks about how they feel about their new body when they transmigrate, Isnt it strange waking up in another man's body?
Jun would certainly agree but would that make him gay since this is technically not his member...
Jun looked down at his member while walking.
"At least I'm hung as a horse" mused Jun in his head, unaware this thought was transmitted to Yinling who was blushing even harder.
Breaking the silence, Jun turned to Elder Lili. "Elder, what exactly are we looking for here?"
"We're investigating a mysterious blue glow seen from afar. Did you perhaps notice it too?" Elder Lili's eyes were sharp, her tone serious yet inquisitive.
Jun hesitated a bit but knew there was no point in denying it.
"Yes, we did see a blue glow" Jun turned his head to meet her piercing gaze "but when we followed it, we found this city was deserted by the time we arrived"
Elder Lili nodded but was actively trying to find any loophole in their story.
Elder Lili nodded, her eyes narrowing as she mentally sifted through their account for any discrepancies.
As the day waned, their search proved fruitless. Gathering at the city's outskirts, Elder Lili sighed, "It seems we have to abandon this search. Whoever was responsible left no trace."
Yu Zhu frowned deeply, his brows knitting together in frustration. "Master! Are we really giving up so easily?" he protested, his voice echoing his desperation for answers after his family's disappearance.
Elder Lili didn't know what to say to calm her disciple, all she could do was comfort him before when he broke down but now he wants revenge.
The team, including the usually stoic logical Yu Lu, fell into an uncomfortable silence, unsure how to respond.
This silence permeated for a few seconds when suddenly someone spoke up.
"Your name is Yu Zhu correct" Spoke Jun breaking through the tense atmosphere.
Yu Zhu, turning to face the remarkably handsome Jun, responded with a hint of sarcasm, "Last time I checked, that's what I've been called."
"Well... if the Scarlet sect is only a 6-star sect, why are you investigating the demise of a 7-star city? Isn't that courting death?" Jun spoke.
Yu Zhu opened his mouth to retort but stopped, the truth in Jun's words leaving a bitter taste. He looked to Elder Lili for support.
Elder Lili naturally knew this but they had to take risks, this blue glow was too close to their sect without them noticing it until it happened. If it could appear on the horizon without them noticing, it could appear right under their noses.
"Jun is correct, but we need to investigate, otherwise it could put our sect in danger if we don't figure out who caused that" Elder Lili spoke, grateful for Jun helping her out.
Turning around she started to slowly float in the air and took out a carriage as big as a toy car and tossed it into the air. In a matter of seconds, it slowly expanded to the length of a school bus, leaving Jun and Yinling shocked like country bumpkins.
Jun has obviously heard of these modes of transportation but seeing it in real life was truly mind-boggling.
Yinling naturally came from a 5-star equivalent sect, but their sect wasn't particularly well off, so things like this were not something she could experience. Even if the sect had one, she doubted whether her father would let her ride it.
"Come in, there's plenty of space" Elder Lili gestured to Jun and Yinling to enter which they did, they weren't overly cautious since although they couldn't defeat her, she couldn't defeat them so easily as well.
As Elder Lili opened the carriage door, a warm, inviting light spilled out from the interior, revealing plush velvet seats that lined the inside. It was spacious yet cozy, with a gentle golden light filling the cabin. The interior radiated luxury, comfort, and a sense of safety, thanks to its sturdy build and protective enchantments.
Jun and Yinling took a corner seat by a window, observing the world through the glass.
"Finally, the protagonist treatment" Jun thought gazing out the window with his hands behind his head, a beautiful girl known as Yinling sitting next to him.
The carriage, buzzing with the excitement of its passengers, smoothly took off, embarking on their journey with a serene view of the world outside.
Their moment of peace was short-lived as Yu Lu and the others joined them, filling the space.
Huáng Zhànshì leaned forward, extending his hand. "I'm Huáng Zhànshì. A pleasure to meet you."
Jun seeing this would naturally not embarrass him, but he saw him only put his hand in front of Yinling, completely ignoring him, which he knew what this muscular person was trying to do.
"Nice to meet you Zhanshi" Yinling replied coolly, deliberately ignoring his hand.
Yu Lu adjusted his glasses, a hint of curiosity behind his serious demeanor. "I'm Yu Lu. Let's work well together," he said, his voice steady and composed.
Suddenly, Zhao Yuling burst in, her energy infectious. "Yu Lu, lighten up!" she chided, playfully pushing him aside and smashing his face on the carriage wall.
"I'm Zhao Yuling. I can't wait to see if you pass our master's test!" Her fist was extended towards Yinling in a friendly gesture.
Yinling, caught by Yuling's enthusiasm, responded with a smile and a fist bump, stunning the men with just a smile.
"I also hope so Yuling"
Jun seeing this was a little taken aback "Are fistbumps a multi-world communication method?" he thought.
"Ahhh you are so beautiful Yinling! how did you get such perfect skin" continued Yuling, venting her emotions. Jun was naturally more in line to trust someone who wore their heart on their shoulder.

Yu Lu glanced outside "You should get ready, we arrive in 10" he announced, redirecting the group's focus.
Jun leaned back, pulling Yinling closer. "Perfect. Some quiet time before we reach our destination."
