Chapter 3: new healing method?

Pulling her out of the rain into his cave, he was finally able to get a better look at her. Mud, sweat, and blood adorned her face and body masking her true identity but judging from the quality of her clothes, it was not hard to guess she came from a noble background.

Noticing the deep gash from her shoulder blade to her collarbone with visible bone left an unsettling feeling in him. The urge to vomit came suddenly but was repressed to deal with the situation first.

Looking at his situation, he really had nothing to heal this woman or the knowledge to deal with it. Sure his system allowed him to have epiphany constantly but what use is it if you don't have any knowledge to have an epiphany on?

Clenching his hand, Jun realized that he left the sect too abruptly.

"Hehe I done fudged up now… I left so fast I forgot to prepare anything".

While he was racking his brain to figure out the situation, a blue pop-up suddenly appeared from his system.

With a mouth wide open large enough to fit an egg he muttered to himself "Why... Why is it that the women in these novels have amazing talent? Where is the fairness"

Focusing back, he realized that this woman wouldn't last 20 minutes if left untreated. Knowing the nearest dynasty was 1 day away, he realized either she died there or he tried to save her.

Using the insights of his epiphany phase which he has not turned off, his mind raced as he contemplated the battles he has seen while in the sect, details never before noticed started appearing in his mind at an incredible pace. "I never noticed it but in combat, when someone releases their attack, their Qi behaves so violently to inflict damage," he whispered, connecting the dots. "What if this behavior in Qi is the key to solving this?"

The concept was uncharted territory. He knew that during major realm breakthroughs, a cultivator's Qi undergoes profound changes, often leading to physical strengthening and healing. Drawing inspiration from this phenomenon, he hypothesized that by manipulating the nature and rhythm of his Qi, he could potentially stimulate cellular repair and regeneration.

He began experimenting by focusing the Qi within him, feeling its natural flow and rhythm. Then, cautiously, he started to alter its intensity, gently at first, like a musician tuning an instrument to find the perfect pitch.

He visualized his Qi as a soothing wave, washing over Yinling's wounds in a rhythmic pattern. He adjusted the intensity, making it slower, and more harmonious than the chaotic vibrations used in attacks. The energy needed to be calming, restorative, and not disruptive.

As he poured this newly tuned Qi into her wound caused by him, he observed closely. At first, the response was subtle. With his epiphany phase still going, he drew even more connections with just this little information to go even further and further.

Seconds passed with insight after insight flooding his mind, in response, he noticed a slight warmth in the tissue, a sign of increased blood flow and activity at the cellular level.

His understanding deepened with each adjustment. His control over his spiritual energy improved dramatically, allowing him to fine-tune its intensity with increasing precision. Soon he found a delicate balance where the energy seemed to resonate with the natural healing processes of the body.

In a breakthrough moment, the cells around the gash responded more visibly. The edges of the wound began to close, knitting together as if guided by an invisible hand. Steam rose quickly from the site, a testament to the accelerated healing taking place.

A smile came upon his face marveling at his hard work:

With each success, his confidence grew. He applied the technique to her other injuries, each one healing at a remarkable pace. Her complexion, once pale and lifeless, slowly regained its rosy complexion.

Next, he focused on the most prominent injury, her spine. Seeing her body bent in the wrong way, it was safe to assume that her spine was probably split in half. Pouring his QI over the place that seemed to be where her spine was split in two, he saw her body quickly going back into place, and with a snap, popped back into place.

Exhausted from the intense focus and energy required for the healing, he sat down and leaned back on the wall, his epiphany phase turning off automatically. "It seems this phase requires I have some energy for it to function." thought Jun.

His eyes were still warily fixed on the woman. He healed her just enough for her to barely talk so she shouldn't be much of a threat.

He already saw from her panel that she was the patriarch's daughter of his ex-sect which confused him. What is she doing severely injured in the middle of the woods? Could there be a conspiracy? So many questions yet no answers.

Thinking that if she was previously being attacked and woke up, would she start freaking out and attack Indiscriminately? he did not want to take any chances so he thought of the next best thing, restrain her. Getting up, he ripped some fabric off her clothes and used that as the item to tie her arms and legs, hopefully, she wouldn't mind too much.

"I don't know if this is my brightest idea," thought Jun as he cautiously approached and knelt to check if they were secure, he couldn't help but think of the awkwardness of the situation.

"It would be funny if she suddenly woke up now," Jun mused. Most novels he read had the same dumb situation but honestly speaking, what are the chances of that happening?

Reaching for the makeshift restraints, he looked at her face to make sure her complexion was recovering. Looking at her eyes wide open with terror, he knew that perhaps he had spoken too soon.

"bruh…"
