Chapter 20: Talented?

It has been more than an hour since Vishnu and his group left TATA Emporium. They didn't even stay in the city directly leaving. Chen Jiaxin asked what is the rush but Vishnu just told her that he'll explain things later. After traveling for more than an hour Vishnu found a nice spot where there are no people in sight and they changed their clothes and facial features again. Vishnu gave Ira the appearance-altering paste too and Chen Jiaxin gave her some of her clothes. Fenrir too changed his size a little bit and with the paste the color of his fur.

"Now would you please tell me why the rush? And who is this girl you brought?" Chen Jiaxin didn't feel good about Vishnu bringing a girl with him. In her mind, all kinds of scenarios were playing.

Vishnu looked at Chen Jiaxin "I just bought Ira from TATA Emporium."

Chen Jiaxin looked at Vishnu dumbfounded. "that's it? If that is the reason then why are we running? It makes no sense." Even though she didn't understand why Vishnu bought her and how that is related to them being in rush, she couldn't wrap her head around what is going on. She looked at Ira looking for answers but she was as clueless as Chen Jiaxin.

"Huh!" Vishnu sighed. "I just gave them a refinement pill," Visnu said.

"So? That isn't a big de…."

"I gave a rank-3 core & soul refinement pill," Vishnu said so low that a person standing next to him might not have heard but as a cultivator, Chen Jiaxin heard him clearly.

"Whaaaaatttt!" Her reaction scared both Ira and Fenrir. But she didn't give them a glance her full attention was on Vishnu.

"You… You gave what? How could you give that? And for a mere girl." Chen Jiaxin didn't know what to say anymore. That is a Rank-3 for god's sake and not any other Rank-3 pill but a peak tier Rank-3 product. Every Rank is divided into 4 tiers – Low, Mid, High, and Peak. And Vishnu just gave a Peak tier product and that too Core & Soul refinement pill which is notorious even among peak tier pills. Only 3 people on the whole continent could concoct that pill but what Chen Jiaxin didn't understand is how Vishnu have that pill in the first place.

"Did Winston give you that pill?" According to her knowledge, Winston is not able to create this pill. That doesn't mean that he is inferior to those three but every alchemist has some products they specialize in and Winston could make some products that they can't so it doesn't truly make anyone superior or inferior. So the question is how did Vishnu get that pill?

"No, We make that pill." Vishnu's voice was still low.

"Say what?" Chen Jiaxin didn't know what to say at this moment.

"Even though Winston alone couldn't concoct that pill but both of us working together were able to make that pill." A smile appeared on Vishnu's face. He looked proud to be able to do what he did at his age. But to Chen Jiaxin's eyes, that smile looked evil somehow.

"Oi Oi Oi, Then Why the hell did you give it away like that?" She asked again.

"Oh, It isn't a big deal. After 3 successful concoctions of that pill both Winston and I got hang of it and now we could make that pill alone without external help. Though he is still faster than me due to his Alchemy core." Vishnu sounded like he is sulking.

" And Ira is talented, I'm sure she won't let me down in the future." Vishnu smiled as he looked at Ira. Seeing that smile Ira's cheek became red and she looked away.

Chen Jiaxin got annoyed seeing their actions.

"Ah! Whatever. So you gave that pill away. I'm sure they must be wondering who are you and will try to make a contact with you." Chen Jiaxin finally understood why is the rush to leave.

"Yep, And I don't want my identity to leak so it's better this way."

Vishnu didn't say more but Ira's curiosity ignited at this point. From their conversation, she could deduce that their appearances are fake when they arrived at the Emporium too but she didn't ask any questions. She knew that their identities are sensitive and she wanted to know what Vishnu wants to do with her in the future.

They changed their direction multiple times and decided to stay in a small village.

In an Inn, they booked three rooms. Chen Jiaxin was mentally tired from all the events so she went to sleep rather quickly.

Vishnu called Ira to his room. Ira looked nervous and seeing her reaction Vishnu found her cute. "Don't worry I'm not going to do anything to you. Remember how I asked if you want power?" Hearing that question Ira's eyes lit up.

"Before that let me ask you a few questions." Vishnu has some questions for her. He wanted to know her background and other stuff.

For the next half an hour they discussed her life. How she lived in a small village but it was attacked by bandits and destroyed and she was sold then and her experience in Emporium. Fortunately, she didn't become a toy to someone and she was thankful to TATA Emporium for that.

Vishnu didn't sympathize with her or anything. Everyone has problems in their lives some big some small but if he has the power to help someone and it didn't get in his way then he'd try to help them and this time Arthur told him to help this girl and that she'd be helpful to him in future.

Vishnu communicated with Arthur about what to do next.

'I'll give you the method for Earth element and wind element. The guy who had a heart on his right side also cultivated in Earth Element so it'd be helpful to her and the wind element method is also a high-rank one not as good as the earth or your fire one but still one of the best. She has a high-level of affinity for Earth and exceptional-level for Wind with 7-star talent so you can count yourself lucky for getting someone so talented early on their cultivation journey.'

Vishnu didn't get surprised to hear her elemental affinity but when he heard 7-star talent he was shocked. 'What are the chances!' is his first thought. He met a random girl and the old man decided to help her and turns out she is freaking talented.

"Hah! Whatever. I'm just that lucky I guess. But are you sure old man? You didn't make any mistake? You didn't even use any of that crystal stuff to determine all this." Vishnu asked. He didn't know how Arthur determined the affinity and talent of Ira so he wasn't fully sure.

'You're still doubting me brat. At my level, you don't need those funky things I could just touch a person and determine their talent. That is why I decided to save you back then.'

"Okay then, Give me the cultivation methods."

Arthur then showed Vishnu the cultivation method for both elements and Vishnu then helped Ira with the methods. Vishnu also gave her all the general information about cultivation and also gave her the storage ring which Winston had given him, after swapping all its contents into his own ring of course. He left some pills and Elixirs which would be helpful for body refinement and Qi training there and informed her of their effects and how she should use them.

At first, Ira was reluctant to accept it but When Vishnu insisted she accepted it.

When their discussion was over it was almost morning and at the time Chen Jiaxin has also woken up.

She first went to check on Ira but when she didn't find her in her room she run toward Vishnu's room and without knocking she entered the room. Thinking that she would catch them in the act but when she saw them discussing Cultivation stuff and then when she barged in, they looked at her as if looking at a crazy person. She got embarrassed.

"Ahem, I just wanted to check if everything is alright. I didn't find her in the room so I thought if something happened to you too." Her lie didn't convince both of them but they ignored that. Ira finally left Vishnu's room. She hasn't slept all night and as a mere mortal so she had to sleep. Vishnu didn't have any problem. He even wondered why Chen Jiaxin even had to sleep. He looked at her and then thought of something "You're at peak of core formation of fire and mid of wind core right?" Vishnu asked.

"yeah! Why?" She didn't understand why Vishnu asked her.

"Here is a cultivation method for wind and fire elements. Change your Method to these. And here are also some pills and Elixirs too." Vishnu tossed the things at her and then left.

Chen Jiaxin looked stunned as she stood there. "Hey you bastard, Explain to me what is all this. And why the hell would I change my Cultivation method." She shouted.

"You can do whatever you want with them then." Vishnu waved his hand as he disappeared. Probably to train.

Chen Jiaxin looked at the things in her hand. There are two books. She read both of them carefully and became stunned. 'They are much better than any cultivation method I've seen!' she remarked. Then she looked at alchemy products and all she saw are Rank-2 and Rank-3 products. And all are at least high quality too.

"Who the hell is he?" she wondered again. Alchemy products she could understand as Vishnu learned all this from Winston but these Cultivation methods are something different.

"Well whatever, I'll learn all about him eventually." What she didn't know was that Vishnu didn't give her the fire cultivation method he uses which is one or two notches above that, As Arthur strictly forbids him from giving that to anyone else. Arthur has given Vishnu many other cultivation methods which he'd give out to his subordinates to use eventually. But What Arthur has for Vishnu is still the best of the best.
