Spiritual energy is awesome

From now on I'm taking in spiritual energy from the air while breathing and through my pores. I can also speed up this process by meditating using a cultivating method, but that's not something I can currently do, since I don't have access to such methods. Also, I should probably do something about my current situation first. I start giving out signs of waking up, and open my eyes.

-What... What happened?

-Xiao Xia, you idiot, you fainted and fell into Senior Song's breakfast. Senior Song has been notified and he's on his way already to punish you. I guess you're dead now.

A tall, burly servant tells me about my situation, while snickering maliciously. I display a horrified look, and start looking around, as if trying to escape.

-Don't even think about trying to escape, you worthless dog! We'll hand you over to Senior Song personally!

Good. That's exactly what I want. As two of them grabs me from both sides, I hear footsteps from outside the dining hall and Senior Song enters the room. He glances over at my beat up body with a stern look, then asks me:

-What happened to you?

-Senior Song, this useless servant fainted and ruined your breakfast!

-Senior Song, I saw the whole thing, he fell face-first right on the table!

-Senior Song, please punish this worthless bastard!

-SILENCE!

Senior Song shouted, while seeming a bit angrier.

-I was asking him, not you bunch.

They all lower their head, but look at me with even more hostility, as if I would be the cause that they stupidly made Senior Song angry.

-Senior Song, this lowly one is called Xiao Xia. Reporting respectfully to Senior Song, I cultivate using a special method handed down in my family, which makes my body weak, but when I cultivate it to the peak, it finishes the three stages of Foundation Building in one go. It's just that it takes a heavy toll on my mind and body at that point. It happened exactly when I was cleaning the room near your breakfast table, so I'm ashamed to report, that I fainted and ruined your magnificent sustenance. This lowly one apologises sincerely, and promises to pay back 5 times the value of the ruined food, while also becoming your personal servant until I can clear this debt.

I blurt out a simple explanation that should be plausible and earn me a couple more minutes. Meanwhile I direct the spiritual energy I just started to absorb to the place in my body that I perceive as being able to store it the most efficiently, my dantian. I can now feel a sliver of rudimentary spiritual power gathering there in my abdomen. This should be enough to deal with the situation at hand, but since it doesn't hurt to be cautious, I'm trying to drag the situation out as much as possible. He's looking at my body, apparently sensing that I've recently finished my Foundation Establishment, making my words plausible. After a short deliberation, he answers:

-Hmph. If what you said is true, this matter isn't entirely your fault, and most of all, not deliberate. But even if it is only an accident, your apology sincere, and your compensation reasonable, I do not tolerate being humiliated as such. I'll be merciful and only break your hands this time, and you'll be banned from working in this district ever again.

That's mercy? No thanks. Well, I've had enough of this situation anyways. So here I go:

-Well, Song Xuan, you asshole, I gave you good terms, but you just had to be prideful. Then there's no need for me to be polite anymore.

I twist my hands out of the grips of the two servants holding me and deliver a swift punch to both their crotches. Then I jump to the third servant and deliver a kick into his face, effectively breaking his nose and knocking him out instantly. The only ones left standing are Song Xuan and me. All this happened so fast that by the time he realised what just happened, the other three were already laying on the ground, two in pain and one knocked out. His face displayed a mocking smile.

-Good, good, you even have the face to attack three outer disciples in front of me. Seems like I should've killed you sooner. Doesn't matter now, I'll show you the difference between somebody who just completed his Foundation Establishment and... huh?

I got tired of his rambling so I jumped at him, driving my meager spiritual energy into my fists. I felt a superhuman power swell in my hand, as I struck out towards his chest. If I could hit his head, it would be an instakill with this kind of power, but I would probably miss, if he reacted in time. Since I had no idea of his true strength, other than him being at the Spirit Cloud Gathering stage, if I didn't kill him or at least incapacitate him quickly, this fight would get really dangerous for me. Sure enough, he reacts a bit slow due to being in the middle of his monologue, but still shifts his body a bit to the left, by the time my fist arrived. I still manage to land a solid punch on his right side and then...

There is no 'then'. My fists, powered by a meager amount of spiritual energy cleanly ripped off his right side along with his right arm. He stares at me in disbelief, then, realising what just happened, his face contorts into an expression of absolute pain and suffering. He'd probably be screaming his lungs out, if he'd still have enough of his lungs for that. After a couple of seconds pass, he collapses, with his blood spraying all over the place. He was dead in one punch. I hope I don't become bald if I keep this up.
