"The exact second the lightning strikes, absorb it through the back acupoint and let it circulate through half a cycle, then...." Outside the secret realm, the Zero Firmament Sect Leader, Qin Yu was using a secret art to transmit a special circulation system to Kong Xiang inside the realm.
There had been three more strikes since earlier, and amidst trying to keep the disciples alive and getting them to tell what had happened in the realm, they had gotten to know about the presence of the demonic cultivator. Putting two and two together, they came to a conclusion of his real identity, the infamous Devil Cultivator Chen Xiaowen. After hearing more and learning about Kong Xiang, they figured they had to work together to stop him. A Soul Embryo Cultivator, especially one that is a devil practitioner like him was an existence able to easily squish cultivators with lower cultivation bases to death with barely any effort. The people with the highest cultivators, the Sect Leaders only had the same Cultivation base as Ding Peng, at Half Step Soul Embryo Realm. It was unknown if the larger sects would send help if they sent distress messages, and they would probably be long dead by then, having been killed already.
The Zero Firmament Sect was a sect that cultivated the lightning element, so their understanding of thunder force was very high. Presently, Qin Yu was sending Kong Xiang messages on redirecting the lightning strikes.
"If you can accumulate the thunder force enough, although the quality of extermination in it is not high enough, the quantity will make up for it, enough to destroy Chen Xiaowen in one hit" The plan was to destroy the linking by killing the linker. If not for the life Bind, the tribulation Chen Xiaowen would be facing would be at the Soul Embryo Realm.
Inside Kong Xiang's body, Extermination thunder force passed through his meridians and circulated in a unique pattern, accumulating into a ball in his hand. His body was battered seriously under the strikes of countless thunderbolts. Thanks to his Nature Qi though, he absorbed some of the lightning to convert to his Nature Qi, forming a balance of some sorts.
"What are you doing?" The gloating soul form of Chen Xiaowen felt a faint trace of fear and turned to the source, Kong Xiang.
"I asked what you were doing.?" The voice was more urgent, panicking even. Kong Xiang still had his eyes closed and didn't answer, oblivious to the deteriorating state of his body as the thunder ball in his hand grew larger in size. Charred flesh was falling off his body as he unleashed the Seal Domain.
Once he unleashed the domain, the violent thunderbolt got less explosive. Kong Xiang encapsulated Chen Xiaowen soul form in it and flung the thunder ball at him, exploding it. Chen Xiaowen was given a huge fright. Although the thunder strikes were at the Cyclic Core, lightning was Yang in nature, and soul was Yin, so they still dealt damage to his Soul Embryo. Based on his calculations, he would normally be able to barely survive with a sliver of his soul, after which he would resurrect using this perfect specimen (Kong Xiang). It all seemed like fate, as they comprehended the same seal laws. Unfortunately, the Extermination thunder ball hit him with no mercy.
"Is it over" Kong Xiang strained his eyes to see if a soul form still existed within the explosion. A flash of light escaped his sight, rushing straight into his glabella. Unknown to him, it was Chen Xiaowen soul.
"Haha, you think you can outsmart a Soul Embryo Realm cultivator, he he he" Kong Xiang didn't sense any anomalies, since he hadn't started Soul Cultivation yet. The Sphere suspended in his Sea of Consciousness shook though, and the mental space transformed into a whirlpool. A suction force formed, exerting a pulling motion on Chen Xiaowen's soul.
"What is this?" The soul form quivered, but there was no stopping the inevitable. It was sucked right into the Sphere. Then Kong Xiang's Sea of Consciousness returned to normal.
So, I was really surprised when i found out this chapter was all scrambled up. It's fixed now, my apologies...
