Firstly, his previously cleansed body seemed to have received another form of baptism. His body did not receive any Refinement, but its quality was improved.

Kong Xiang observed the other changes in his body in some surprise. One moment, he was reading Hou Da's theories, the other moment, he opened his eyes to see Ding Xiaolong's curious face and Li Luo's happy countenance tinged with worry.

After noticing his present cultivation, Kong Xiang thought that the Eternal Divine Sutra did indeed deserve its grade as a divine level cultivation Art. He also thought it was fate that he came across the scroll in his hand.

Hou Da theorized the existence of a so-called 'Nature Qi'. He claimed it formed sometimes in the deepest parts of the oceans. It also accumulated slowly in places of mass destruction, restoring its initial state, and sometimes in the most secluded regions of ancient forests.

According to him, this Qi was extremely beneficial to human and beast alike. His theory was not unfounded, as this 'Nature Qi' was used to explain cases such as that of an old mortal man who got lost and stumbled across a bamboo forest, instantly reverting to his old self with all his injuries gone, or a young girl who supposedly drowned and drifted to the bottom of the ocean, coming back to life with terrifying water control abilities. In fact, few lucky cultivators have stumbled into this Qi, and they used it immediately to either advance their cultivation or purify their bodies, cleansing it of impurities and hidden injuries. Unfortunately, this Qi was usually in limited quantity and was rarely found.

Hou Da drafted the possibility of making this Qi artificially from the conversion of certain elemental Qis that corresponded to where this Qi was mostly found, but unfortunately, the conversion was not something that could be achieved with the meridian system of humans beings or beasts. In fact, the meridian system drawn by Hou Da was not possible with any species, as it was way too complex. The Eternal Divine Sutra solved that by creating a virtual secondary meridian system that overlapped with the original. Hou Da's unnamed theories seemed particularly made for Kong Xiang.

Ding Xiaolong was reading the scroll, it was unknown when exactly she got it from Kong Xiang's hands. She had read this scroll a couple of times before, and dismissed it because of its impracticality. Firstly, it was only an incomplete theory. Secondly, the hypothesized meridian system was not existent. She turned to look at Kong Xiang in confusion, since the meridian system was impossible in the first place, just how did he even manage to cultivate this?

Her attention was soon focused on something else. The nature Qi was synonymous with creation and rebirth. It had tremendous healing potential, and it could even cleanse and rebuild cultivation foundation. If anybody knew of the peculiarity of Kong Xiang's unique ability to convert this kind of Qi...her eyes turned cold.

In a voice only Kong Xiang and Li Luo could hear, she said. "From now on, the scroll you gained enlightenment from is the Holy Wood Method. You must only use wood elemental Qi henceforth and don't easily let anybody know you can convert nature Qi." Like magic, the scroll in her hand switched to the Holy Wood Method, which she stuffed into his hands.

Kong Xiang also knew how dangerous it could get if people knew he could produce nature will indefinitely. He shot her a grateful glance.

Ding Xiaolong then focused on the two of them with a grin.
