Kong Xiang did not have any luck throwing the kid off his trail while making his way back to his residence.
Despite stopping to dispel the cloaking spell of unknown origin the boy was using intermittently and warning him severely to stop the trailing, Dumbo still followed Kong Xiang all the way back to Creek Inn, where the latter was lodged.
Kong Xiang intentionally rushed into his room first and immediately activated the defence arrays to test an hypothesis. At the same time, he fully mobilized his ocular technique to observe the entrance.
In less than thirty seconds, Dumbo suddenly appeared in his room after him. He didn't even bother to cloak himself this time.
Kong Xiang and Dumbo fell into a staring contest.
"Was that the Spatial Grand Dao that you used just now?" Kong Xiang finally asked after a brief spell.
