Along with the first member of the squad, over twenty pacted magical beasts stepped forward—every single one, I could tell, had been trained up to have a cultivation base that matched the squad members, and at this level, no one was below Spirit Barrier Formation Realm. Of course, even Ascended Beasts lacked more than animal intelligence, but since they were all pacted, they could be directed and trained to use quite complex group tactics.
What not even I knew in that moment, was that none of that mattered. With one technique, Bing Hei had gone from being relatively weak in one-versus-many situations…to making it so one-versus many situations couldn't even exist against him.
