Chapter26

#Chapter26

DOOMED

Having been alone for the last couple of hours, I lay back against my bed, keeping my gaze on the ceiling above me. Being in this house was starting to become more than a nightmare and more like hell. It’s funny I had more of a good time being in actual hell than being in my own home.

The old lady had left after she freaked out, out of no where and ran out of the house, I wasn’t sure if she was just a crazy old lady or if what she was saying was true. Either way, I knew she wasn’t exactly lying about everything as I could see the danger that lurked in the shadows of this town. The people, they were all weird and I was sure now that I wasn’t just imagining things.

‘You’re looking for answers in all of the wrong places.’

Freezing at the voice of my tormentor, the one who brought this misery onto my life, I didn’t dare move as my eyes searched for Satan’s presence and yet, he was no where to be found.
