One thing Kara had learned since she stepped foot in Eithra was that one never truly knew when another was watching. Initially, the realm had appeared as an uncomplicated and majestic kingdom with a thousand tales that held a promise for the greatest love story she would ever experience.
Never had she expected to face-off against a green menacing creature and a huge elf with a wicked scar on his face, all for a King who had barely looked at her the past few days. It had left her stunned and confused, and maybe hurt. Nevertheless, she convinced herself that he was preoccupied with the affairs of the kingdom.
The terrifying memory of that dreadful encounter still haunted her dreams. Kara couldn’t imagine what would have happened if she hadn’t been able to protect Ramses.
