Chapter 1: When I met Him

Hi. I am Caily Katheryne Hughes, 16 years old. They call me Caily instead.

I am now in 10nth grade. Final tests are finally over and today is the pictorial for moving up.

"Hey, Caily! Where do you plan to study?" Tony blurted out.

Tony is my boy bestie. We've been best friends since 3rd grade.

"We already inquired in Ravenhood High last week."

"Guess it's because from Caisie's boyfriend."

Caisie is my twin sister. And yes she has a boyfriend for four years. Her boyfriend studies there already in his 2nd-year college with a MedTech course.

"And how about you and Jacey?"

Yes, I do have a boyfriend too. But we're too far away from each other and I just met him online.

I'm a solid fan of a boy group so I decided to create a fan account on a social media app. I keep updating about them, telling news for the fans who cannot install or enter in any private articles or links for streaming, and many more. Just so you know, it became my hobby.

Until I discovered the other side of social media that stopped me from doing my enthusiasm.

Well, this isn't something dark.

Someone commented on one of my posts if I am interested to join her group chat. Well, I agreed so I can have more friends.

I joined, met new friends there, and then... I met him.

He's name is Jacey Donskov,

In the social app.

Here, we all hide our identities.

Such as names, ages, real faces, even our genders.

So, I am completely dating a stranger.

"You know, Caily. I am concerned." Tony said with a worried look.

"I know, Tony. But trust me. I am safe" I sweetly smiled.

"Girl, you better know how to kick some balls before you go plan to meet him. I swear to God I would like to train you. I know someone who's good at taekwondo" as he rolls his eyes.

"Yep. I'll be careful, bro."

"No don't call me bro. What the hell, Caily. I'm a sis!" we both laugh as the bell rings.

"Okay, lunchtime! Girls, come back as fast as you can. You're all next for the pictorial."

We're already 7 months of dating yet I still haven't met him nor know his face, where he is from. I only know his age tho. I am 16 years old and he's 18.

In these 7 months of a relationship, I experienced being two-timed. But I first got to be cheated on was from my ex a year ago and he's my classmate.

It was last year when this happened. We were only 2 months in a relationship that time when I opened Jacey's account because he gave it to me voluntarily and I saw his inbox, full of flirtatious messages and he tends to court all of these girls. I broke up with him and he came back begging for forgiveness. I gave him a chance but my trust in him fades away. I mean, we're just internet lovers. I am just slightly serious about what's between us.

The teachers decided to have just a half-day since the finals are over and there's nothing to do now. I came home and go straight to the bed and grab my phone and received 20+ messages from him. Before I can reply to him, he suddenly calls as I quickly answered.

"Why aren't you answering my messages?" he promptly said.

He sounds mad.

"I just got home from school" I replied back.

"Can you at least peek on your phone?"

"Jacey, I already told you that phones aren't allowed in my school."

"Well, what am I doing right now? Phones aren't allowed here either but I can still message you" I started to bite my lip, trying to control my anger.

"For your information, I am not like you. You always get into trouble. Stop comparing yourself to me that you can proudly do anything even though it's beyond the rules."

"You don't know how to sacrifice just a little for this relationship."

"Sacrifice? I already gave you a chance after you cheated on me."

"So now you're criticizing me?" I clenched my fist slams in on my pillow.

"You know what, I don't even know you. For real. This isn't working and we already both knew that" he let out a big sigh and said.

"Fine" then ends the call.

I blocked his number and deactivated my account as I throw my pillow.

I guess this is the end.

It's moving up day. We broke up and became hiatus in using social media for two weeks after our break up.

"Congratulations, Caily!" I heard a familiar voice coming from behind as she back hugs me.

Her name is Sierra Hart. She's my childhood best friend since I was 6 and she's 4. I was just newly moved in our subdivision that time when I saw her running with her shorts, ripped while the children laugh at her. I can't deal with the bullying so I grab my shorts from my suitcase that I think fits on her and run towards him and gave it to her.

That's how we started to be playmates.

And now, We're in different schools but this girl is now a bully.

Yes. A bully.

"Noowww, would you look at this bully girl~" I teased as she rolled her eyes

"Whatever. Anyways, I would like you to meet my pals later at night. Let's have a celebration since I got this." she brings out a certificate and a gold medal from her back and smiles at me.

"This bully girl you tease is on the top list, bi*ch." she flips his hair as my eyes went wide then covers her mouth.

Fun fact: the word ☆ BI*CH ☆ is our call sign.

"Bi*ch, I swear to god don't f*cking shout here!" I whispered.

"Too late" she winks.

"Oh! And by the way, I would like you to meet someone too." she blurted out.

"No thanks, Sierra. I'm on a break for the headaches he gave me."

Sierra first met Jacey before me. We are both in the group chat and he approached her first but ends up with me.

"Just look the f*ck out on that corner and observe that guy." she points out to the guy wearing a cap with a blue navy sweatshirt and white shorts. I look at her then she smiles.

"It's him."
