Crux of Chasm

CHAPTER 1

A strong vertigo overcome Blade; a high pitch was ringing in his ear. He tried to remain straight in his seat and opened his eyes to observe his surroundings, but it aggravated his dizziness.

He leaned his on his back and almost fell down his seat since it didn't have a backrest. He tried to settle down and not move around too much to not aggravate his symptoms.

After along times, the ringing in his ear subsided however, his environment didn't quiet down. Opening his eyes, he realized that he was sitting in a stool in a strange environment.

Strange because his didn't know where he was. The place though looked luxurious, despite this, the place was eerie. There seemed to be a dried blood on the carpet, if its not a ketchup or tomato sauce. The place was filled with a thick layer of dust.

The noise didn't come from the room, it looks like it was originating outside. He stood up from the stool chair that was placed in the middle of the room and tried to discreetly peek at the noise downstairs.

And he quickly moved away from the window when he saw the disgusting scene outside. It was daytime so he saw clearly how many undead were eating the people outside.

The image was quite difficult to erased in his mind. As a simple college student, despite his experience in watching the GOT which was filled with nudity and violence and other horror movies or thriller, as a modern man, he was not used to seeing it in person and could quickly adapt to it.

How those transmigrators in his favorite web novels manage to do it and adapt as quickly as they did was a mystery to him, the scene in front of him was more than he could take. He covered his mouth to stop himself from vomiting.

Whilst stopping himself from vomiting, a voice sounded in his head.

"Welcome, to one of the minor worlds, created by ***, the world's main direction, or plot would be sent to the host." The cheery voice made him a bit excited.

He had always been dreaming of becoming protagonist saving the world and collecting the harem members. Imagining himself standing at the top of the world. But remembering how his stomach would churn at the sight of those disgusting things wipe away the growing smugness that he had after hearing the voice.

"Host B's First World, unrated. Points needed for clearance, 100. Golden finger, orchid scent."

'What is kind of golden finger is an orchid's scent? And how the fuck would that save him in a zombie siege?!'

Thinking that the system would answer him in his mind, he asked. To his horror, unlike what was featured in many transmigrating stories filled with either cute, naïve or even poisonous system, like an automated voicemail, the system repeated the same lines with the same cheery voice mechanical voice.

"Host B's First World, unrated. Points needed for clearance, 100. Golden finger, orchid scent."

He held his head and he wanted to laugh. After he thought that that was it, a strong vertigo hit him strongly than the one he experienced before he transmigrated.
