In the new life

The just-risen sun shone softly on the city streets, bringing with it a flurry of early-morning activity. It was the first school day in the new year.

" Will you woke up or I should come and drag you off the bed". Layla mother shouted from the room.

  " Mom... I'm Coming". Layla said and took her bag then rushed out.

  " I'm here Mom". Layla said still with her hair dripping from water.

  " Look at you...you are no longer a kid ...you are 17 years old just in a month time you will be 18 and look at how you are still behaving like when you were 5 years". Becky said and went to her room.

  " Mom...why all this insult this early morning?". Layla said while following her mother.

"Come and let me dry your hair". Becky pulled Layla over and started drying her hair with her hair dryer.

  "Are you not looking like a student now..Ah... come for your food". Becky dragged Layla with her to the dinning table.

  Layla and all of them were reborn. It been 20 years since they all came back into new life. Layla was in the same school with all of the rest but none of them no themselves.

"Okay I'm full Mom... byebye". Layla said and without waiting for a minute she rushed out. In this their life,

    they wasn't living a luxurious life but they were in average class they live in one of the expensive apartment in Korea.

   Layla quickly stopped a taxi and got in.

" Please to my school".

    She said and smiled.

Dela the most handsome idol and Jonie would be coming to school that day so she couldn't wait to go see them.

  " Please hurry a little". They were all in the same school but Dela and Jonie was in their final year to complete school.

   Because of the that Layla had always learned hard to write their paper with them in other for her to also complete and join Dela in the same university.

  She dropped in front of her school and quickly rushed inside. Just before she could get to her class, there were a huge crowd which had already gathered around them.

   She forced herself through it just only to see Dela. She doesn't even remember knowing Dela and Dela also doesn't even remember her too.  

        But since love can not be erase from the heart, Layla still love Dela but this time it was the other way round. Dela doesn't even know that she exist in the world.

Layla stood there drooling over Dela until her conscious told her to live for everyone has already left.

  " Hey..hey". Lisa her best friend tapped her on the shoulder.

  " Layla!!".

"Mmm".

" Why are you drown in love like that ...the person you are even crushing on doesn't even know your existence...will you be wise for once ". Lisa said while pulling her away with her.

  " Come and let go ..class is about to start ". Lisa said and took her away with her.

  In the class Layla looked away dreaming about her and Dela together. The class teacher notice her and threw a maker at her.

  " Hey.. what was my last word?". The teacher asked. Layla wasn't an empty headed person, she was the first top of her class and no one has been able to take her down.

   She was just waiting to be in the same school and the same class with Dela then she will know whether he can beat her or not.

  " Your last word was 'So that is what makes the earth Geoid'". Layla said and everyone was amazed.

  " How did she get that"

" I thought she wasn't following what the teacher was saying".

   " Wow...she is soo cool ". They begin to murmuring among themselves.

  " Is okay class keep quiet ". The teacher said and went back on what he was talking about.

Their bell rang for break time and they all went out.

  " Lisa please.. today I ate from home so I'm not going to eat again please ". Layla pleaded with Lisa. She didn't want to eat the food just because she had seen Dela and Jonie going up to the library. She wanted to go there also.

  " Why are you soo in rush.. where are you going?". She asked and Layla looked away.

  " I want to catch up with something I learnt yesterday but I couldn't get it in my mind so I'm going to relearn in the library please ". She said.

  " Then let go together ".

" No..I can go alone ". Layla said. Just then Collins joined them.

  " What is going on here ". He asked and sat down.

  " Well your straight As friend said she want to go and learn in the library...". Lisa said.

  " Yes.. Collins please talk on my behalf for me". Layla said.

" Lisa just allow her to go she will be right back ". Collins said.

Lisa looked at Layla with her pity face then allowed her to go.

  " Okay you can go.. beside we have free period ". Lisa said and Layla quickly gave her peak and went away.

" So stubborn ". Lisa said.

" You are the most stubborn person I have ever seen ". Collins said.

  " What are you talking about?". Lisa asked.

" Hasn't your Godmother told you not to drink cold things again?". Collins asked as he took away the cold drink and placed a warm soda in front of her.

  " I hate this...Why did she even live me under your care". Lisa said and looked away then begin to eat her food.

Layla entered the library hall quietly then sat down on a chair facing Dela who was busy with his books. Although he was an idol, he never play with his books also for he will soon leave to the university.

  " De..are you done with the first work". Jonie asked while flipping through a book.

  "Yeah.. take it".  Dela handed a file over to Jonie. He went through it carefully then placed the book in his hands down and got his laptop. He started typing what was on the paper on the laptop.

   Layla could only stare at them but dares not to get close. A minute later Dela's sister Hosea who was at the same age with Layla also showed up.

  " What are you guys doing?". Hosea asked.

" Don't come and distract us we are busy".

" Why.. don't I have eyes to see you guys are busy?". Hosea said and sat down then took Dela's phone and begin to play game on it.

  " If you don't know and you let my phone die I will kill you". Dela warned still with his eyes in the book.

  " I have always known that you are a witch. How did you know I took your phone...do you have ten eyes?". Hosea asked.

  Jonie just look at them and shook his head.

Hosea looked up at Jonie and then stood up and sat down on his thighs.

  " What the hell are you doing...we are in the public..got off me". Jonie tried pulling Hosea off him.

  " You can't get rid of me boy..I have got you now". Hosea started playing with his hair. It begin attracting attention so Dela stopped her and told some of the boys to take her away.

  " Don't touch me leave me alone.. Jonie please don't let them take me away Jonie please... can't you see how much I love you... please Jonie". Everyone was amazed but Jonie was surprised.

  " Did your sister just propose to me?". He asked Dela.

  " If you didn't get what she said, why not call her and ask ... I don't know". Dela said and smiled which sent a shot straight to Layla's heart. She just couldn't take her eyes away.

  She took her eyes away only when that annoying soul call lily came close to Dela.

  FRASH BACK

"Mom.. please I'm still not satisfied for keeping them separated..how long will it last. They will surely come back together again. They will surely know each other again please mom please do something". Lily pleaded with her Mom to do something for her to also go into the new life.

  "My dear...if I do you will lose almost all your powers..and if everything return back you won't even have the strength to fight". Her mother warned.

  "I prefer losing my powers and being with the one I love mother... please do something.. please".

  "Okay.. okay I will think of something". She said.

An hour later, she sent lily into the new life also.

Lily wasn't born again as a child but she hide herself in a beautiful young girl who was dead that particular day body and became a living soul also.

Because of her not being reborn as a child, she remember almost everything from Arcyology to Zoyology (From A to Z).
