CHAPTER 283: COMFORT

"I am sorry mother!" Lisa stated.

"Its okay baby"

"Riiiiiiing! Riiiiiiing! Riiiiiing!" "Excuse me," Alex said as his phone continued to ring and drew to a corner.

"What is it, Henry?" Alex asked immediately after he received the phone. 

"It's ma'am!" 

"What is wrong with her?" Alex asked panic.

"She got the news that.."

"Report quickly!" Alex shouted because the man was wasting his time and he wanted to know what was wrong with the person in question.

"Sorry sir but she got the news!" Alex froze.

"What do you mean she got the news?" He asked but he was already shocked.

"According to what we have gathered, it was like someone called her and told her that she is not Richard and Sandra's child and you can't believe it, sir! The girl had already.."

"I am on my way there! Make sure she doesn't do anything to herself! If she hurt herself, you will tell me what exactly is your job there!" Alex exclaimed his heart throbbing hard causing the duo in the sitting room to gaze in his direction.

"You mean you are coming to India?" The voice said from the other side.

"Yes! And stop asking many questions. By the way, when did she get the news?" He asked somehow composed but in truth, his heart was palpating hard.

'Even though I hate her but I can't see her like that! I know how she thinks right now!' 

"It was last week sir. But until now, madam is not able to eat because she kept on remembering those words and she couldn't ask her mother about her true identity" The man reported causing Alex to sigh.

"Take care of her for me! I will be there by tomorrow morning! That is how she is. Very soft and kind, hahaha" He said with a smile causing the man on the other end shook his ears to be sure that it was his boss who was saying all those words after what happened a year and some months ago.

"B-but sir you vowed not to come closer or to as.."

"Do as I said!" And with that, Alex hung up the phone.

"What is it, my son?" Diana asked seeing the confused look on Alex's face and the way, he was shouting.

"I have got another business. But don't worry, I will sort the issue first before I travel!" He blurted out making the duo gaze at him in confusion.

"I am heading to India!" Alex split the bean seeing their confused look.

He had made up his mind finally? But why was he going to comfort the girl after she betrayed him?

'No problem! I will just look at her from afar. I miss her face anyway'

"Is there a problem?" Diana could see that the boy was hiding something.

Was there a problem with Blessing? She would have to find out but first, she had to rescue her daughter.

"Nothing! I have to go now! By tonight, Lydia will be here. I know that middle aged man and I know his weakness"

He paused like he was thinking about something and continued, "I will use it against him to get the girl back. If he does anything to her, he will get it from me. Don't worry aunty Diana" Alex said ready to go when Diana caught his sleeves, "Thank you so much son for recognising me as your mother. Even though, we are from different worlds. You are very humble that sometimes I wish you were my son. May God bless you and may he increase your powers!"
