CHAPTER 185: LAST MOMENTS

The sun had already risen from the horizon showing its beautiful face upon the earth's surface.

Two people were sauntering towards a particular plane among the three planes that were aligned at the airport.

The planes were supposed to take off at the same time but heading to different places.

The duo's hands were intertwined as they walked while their faces were full of indescribable emotions. 

This day was their last day together until they meet again after a month.

Blessing was crying silently as Alex caught her by the shoulder while his other hand was holding tightly on her hands as if he was scared that she might disappear into thin air.

She was deep in her thoughts. She knew this was all she needed but she was sad too because she would not be able to see her parents and siblings for a long time.

She knew that when she returned, many things would have changed. Her sisters and brother would be older and she just hoped that her mum would get better soon so that they would return home to her siblings. She would miss both of them a lot but she also knew that when she returned, she would never be the same again. She would return as a different person but she prayed that being a doctor would not change her mind and heart no matter how much she would be earning after securing a job.

And Alex, she prayed that he would only think about her and not be tempted in marrying that crazy princess when she was away. 

She gritted her teeth at that thought.

'Indeed, I have to study and become somebody so the I will much this man's status' She thought inwardly as she tighten her grip on the man's hand.

'I need also to look more beautiful and elegant than that Jamilah! So that my Alex would always be on my side. Hahaha! I will show that brat that I am more beautiful than she is. Wait till I become a doctor' She smiled lightly at the thought.

Everything was in place. Blessing's parents and Diana wanted to come to the airport to bid her goodbye but Alex rejected them by using the excuse that Blessing's mother was not in good condition but deep inside of him, he wanted to be left alone with his girl so that her attention would not be divided.

The people at the hospital didn't argue but agreed. Mr Richard wanted to disagree and follow them but Diana tried to put sense in his stubborn head and now, they were here just the two of them and course with some other travellers together with their families.

"I will miss you so much. Take this. And this is my card. You can use it to purchase anything that you want and don't worry about how much you should spend. Use as a lot of money as you want and enjoy yourself there. Don't allow anyone to bully you, okay?" Alex broke the silence as he handed over the passport together with the green scarf to her and other important documents.

"I-I will. Miss you too. I still don't believe this. I thought that I will be happy to go but now I am sad. I am scared too" Blessing managed to retort back as more tears rushed down her beautiful little face.

"Don't worry, okay,? I will make sure to come and visit you once in a month" He beamed making Blessing open her mouth wide in shock.

"Are you serious?" She asked astonished as she raised her head and gazed at the man who had become part of her life.

"Of course, I must come!" He declared with a sweet smile showing his deep dimples and making Blessing blush.

His smile always made her weak on her knees.

"Wow! Thank you so much. But what about my family? Especially sister Sofia who is now a big girl. I don't know if she is still in school or she stopped going due to lack of fees and as you can see, all my parents are still here in the city" She stated with a little sigh.

After all, she was supposed to help her parents and that was the reason she came to this city but a lot of things changed against her that she wasn't able to send anything to them up to now that they were also there.

"You don't have to think about all that. I will make sure that she goes to school without any stress because I clear her fees and all your siblings' too, okay?" This made Blessing to embraced the in front of him in a deep hug as more tears rushed down her cheeks.

Alex was an angel in her world. He was ready to help her achieve her dreams and also he was ready to help his siblings too? She did not know how to thank him.

He got a golden heart.

"Thank you! Thank you so much, Alex! I promise you to work hard and always make you proud!" She blurted out joyfully.

"You happy now?" He asked as he tapped her on her back lightly.

"Happy? That word can't describe how I feel right now! Tell me what you want and I will be glad to give it to you if it is within my reach !" She beamed happily as she broke the hug and gazed at him lovingly.

"Are you serious? What if I need..."

"Shut up! You are shameless...sigh..can't you see all these people?" She whispered as her face had already turned red like a tomato by that statement. She was gazing down the ground coyly.

"Hahaha! I was joking, anyway, I will miss you, baby girl!" He stated while pulling her closer to him that what he did next made her brain stop functioning.

He got hold of her as if he wanted to hug her but then he bit her earlobe making her produce a strange sound which shocked her and she ran towards the plane all coyly.

"Hay! Wait for me! I am sorry!" He shouted with a smile but the girl ran as fast as possible towards the planes.
