Kate returned home, the first thing she did was run into the bathroom to get her pills. She calculated the possiblity of her getting pregnant and sighed. Unfortunately, Alvin wasn't aware of it.

But it baffled her. Why would he want children from a woman he loathes? She wouldn't give him a child regardless of his intentions. She was ready to be childless.
