Below are a list of Ideas that you can use for your Moemon System Novel, please feel free to use and modify any of those Ideas to suit your needs :

📔 Instead of being bound to the Host's Level, you can make the Main Character unlocked more summoning slot by completing the quests given by system. That way, you can make the Main Character have, say, five to six slots of Summon early but if he or she wants to unlock even more slots, then the Quest given by System would be increasingly difficult that he must reach a certain level first before he can complete the Quests and getting more slots.

📔 Here are some Ideas for the Quests that can be given with the reward of getting an additional Summoning Slot:

1. Defeat or Kill Five Different Species of Monsters.

2. Defeat a fellow Trainer or Tamer or Breeder or Summoner or whatever Job/Class you can think of that summon, train, and/or uses other creature(s) to fight on their behalf.

3. Defeat or Kill 18 or 19 Types of Monsters (Multi Type Monsters counts as one towards each of their Type).

4. Kill a Boss Monster for the First Time.

5. Clear an Entire Dungeon or Secret Realm or whatever Mystical Place you can think of for the first time.

Now after you have cleared all of those five Quests, Voila! You will have a Main Character who have Six Slots of Summoning Monsters and can Summon a Sextet of MoeMons like any proper Moemon Trainer already!
