Olivia staggered. She kept stepping backwards while shaking her head in denial until her back hit the wall.
She did not feel the pain by hitting the vase. Her mind was numb and so was her senses. She kept staring at the blood with hatred. As if it would vanish if she kept doing that.
"That is a lie! A lie." She shouted hard only for Cedric to smirk.
He stood up and walked to her. His face softened.
"There, there! You should rest Oli. you look tired." he held arms and laughed when she did not stop him this time.
She looked broken, devastated and lost completely. He must have known, he could not win against her physically. But he could still break her spirit. In the end, she was just a vulnerable woman.
'This would not have happened, if you would not have included Alex. I would have let you go. You are the one who brought this!'
He gently stroked her messy hair.
