drawn to your scent

The night seemed much longer for Eamon as he joined the soldiers at the wall for his occasional night watch.

With only three hours to dawn, Eamon was quite eager to have his watch done so that he could get some much needed rest.

As the first rays of sunlight started to lighten the horizon, Eamon readily gave up his post to the next soldier and proceeded to make his way to his assigned chambers.

Being an army general came with a few perks and laying in a decent bed and sleeping off for at least six hours was something Eamon looked forward to.

He was nearing his destination only to pause in his tracks when a strong and irresistibly appealing scent hit his nostrils and threatened to take control of all his senses.

It was an intoxicating blend of musk, an earthy undertone and a hint of something smokey.
