Chapter 7: The Battle Against the Uchiha

The wind cut through the trees like sharp blades, carrying with it the ominous foreboding of what was to come.

Kaito and Kushina had barely had time to recover when the first Uchiha emerged from the gloom, their Sharingan glowing with terrifying intensity.

"Kushina, stay close," I whispered, my voice strained, trying to contain the panic pounding in my chest.

The first attack was ruthless.

The Uchiha rushed at us with inhuman speed, their red eyes anticipating my every move.

Every blow I threw was dodged with eerie grace, and soon I felt the counterattacks hitting my body hard.

Punches and kicks landed with surgical precision, forcing me back.

Beside me, Kushina defended herself fiercely with a kunai, each movement a dance of survival.

His ability to keep the Uchiha at bay was impressive, but the numerical disadvantage was evident.

For each enemy that we managed to repel, two others appeared, surrounding us little by little.

"Damn, there are too many of them!" I thought, my mind working fast to find a solution.

We needed an advantage, something to break the rhythm of the battle.

Without hesitation, I began to concentrate fire in the palm of my hand, forming the fire sphere of my "Cruel Sun" technique.

The crackling energy grew rapidly, distorting the air around them.

With a shout of challenge, I threw the sphere towards the Uchiha.

The explosion that followed was deafening.

The nearby trees shook violently, and a wall of flames rose up where the Uchiha had been.

For a brief moment, I thought we had made it, that perhaps we had bought time.

But then, from among the smoke and flames, a figure emerged, enveloped in bluish and purple fire.

The spectral form of the Susanoo rose before us, its empty eyes glowing with dark power.

I felt a knot of fear form in my stomach.

"Susanoo," I murmured, barely able to believe my eyes.

The incomplete avatar was enough to neutralize my strongest attack, and I knew we were in trouble.

"This is getting complicated!" I couldn't stop the panic from seeping into my voice.

The Uchiha who wielded the Susanoo were dangerous, and the appearance of that technique meant that the battle had just reached a new level of danger.

Before I could come up with a plan, more Uchiha appeared, completely surrounding us.

The new enemies formed seals with their hands, and the air began to vibrate with the accumulation of chakra.

"Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu!" The scream rang through the air just before a sea of flames headed towards us, engulfing us in a hellish embrace of fire.

Without time to think, I raised both hands and conjured a spherical barrier of fire, enveloping Kushina and I in desperate protection.

The layers of fire that formed the barrier struggled to contain the immense heat of the outside attack.

The air inside the barrier became unbreathable, sweat drenching my forehead as I felt the pressure of the flames pounding against my shield.

I realized what the ninjas wanted, they knew that I couldn't use attacks that weren't of the fire element so they forced me to stay here until we lost consciousness due to lack of oxygen.

The situation was already going from bad to worse, I didn't know what would happen if the situation continued like this.

Kushina, next to me, gasped for air, her face marked with tension.

Despite the barrier, the heat was stifling, and I knew we couldn't last much longer.

I looked at Kushina, trying to keep a calm expression, but panic spread through my chest like a ravenous flame.

I tried calling the system to see if it found something that will help me.

Third Objective: Survive the current situation.

Abandon Kushina to save your life.

Sacrifice Kushina to free the Kyubi.

Mission Interruption The mission will be canceled and compensation rewards will be given and force the user to return to the world.

Kaito frowned, noting that the system wouldn't be much help and none of the options were an option for him.

That's when everything changed.

The environment around us faded, and I found myself floating in a dark and vast space, as if trapped in an endless sea.

"Where...?" The question was left unfinished when I saw Kushina in front of me, talking to a gigantic creature locked in a cage.

The Nine Tails, Kurama.

"Kurama..." The name was barely a whisper in my mind, but the vision before me was clear.

Kushina was fighting her own despair, while Kurama tempted her with seductive words, promising that he would save the young man if she freed him.

Looks like you're in trouble, young man.

Kaito turned scared trying to find his voice

In front of him appeared a tall man with gray skin, his white eyes large wrinkles and short, but spiked reddish woolly hair on the top of his head with a braid on the left side tied that reached his chin, of which he also had a long beard that reached to the stomach

The figure was someone quite important within this world.

Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki replied Kaito.

Impressive to be recognized by someone else beyond this star is an honor.

When Kaito saw him, the sage of the 6 paths recognized him.

"You did this," Kaito asked.

You mean bringing yourself to this space?

If so, if I was the one who brought you here

But there's not much time I drew you here for a reason

I'm surprised how you managed to survive the tests.

Tests ? Kaito asked realizing something you know about the system.

Of course I was the one who asked your system for help.

Kaito was surprised.

But leaving that he takes a sphere of energy throwing it in front of me only to be absorbed by the system.

Rewards Updated.

You have received a resurrection ticket :

Used 1 : Allows you to revive a person who is dead or on the verge of death.

Well with this you should know what to do, In the end the old man disappeared.

And I started walking towards where Kushina was.

"Kurama," I said, my voice echoing through space.

Kushina and the beast turned to look at me, surprise evident in their eyes.

"I have a proposal," I continued, my words heavy with the determination I could barely maintain.

"I will free you if you help Kushina and me escape safely."

Kushina gasped, her eyes reflecting the disbelief and fear that was beginning to take over her.

He knew what freeing Kurama entailed, but he saw no other option.

Kurama looked at me with a mix of curiosity and disdain.

"And who are you to make that offer?" His voice echoed through the space, full of power and distrust.

I stood my ground, knowing that our lives depended on my next decision.

Kurama studied me with those bestial eyes, filled with centuries of hate and wisdom.

I could feel their distrust, their repulsion towards humans.

But I also perceived something else in his gaze: curiosity, perhaps a spark of opportunity.

"And what would you gain by freeing me, human? What makes you think I won't destroy you as soon as I'm free?" Kurama's voice was a deep roar, echoing in every corner of that dreamlike space.

Kushina looked at me, her breathing heavy, her mind torn between reason and survival instinct.

I held my posture, forcing my voice not to shake. "I propose a deal to you, Kurama.

I free you and in exchange, you help us escape from the Uchiha.

"Kushina won't die if you help me, and you... you may have a chance to unleash your anger on those who really imprisoned you."

Kurama leaned forward, his enormous fangs reflecting the dim light in that infinite void.

"And what makes you think I won't betray you the moment you free me?"

It was a real possibility, but we had no other option.

If we didn't escape, we were both doomed. And Kushina...

"I trust you won't," I replied, forcing a smile.

Because if you do, you will be stuck in this world, hated and feared, with no one to truly understand you.

But if you help us... there will be a chance for something different.

Maybe you can even find some freedom in the midst of all this chaos.

Kurama remained silent for a moment, his piercing gaze weighing my words.

Then something unexpected happened.

A low growl, which turned into a guttural laugh, reverberated through the space.

"Human, you're more interesting than I thought," he finally said, his eyes narrowed.

"Okay, I accept your deal. But remember, if you betray me, your life will be worthless."

The world around us began to crumble, shadows fading as I returned to the battlefield.

The fire barrier he had created was beginning to give way, the Uchiha's flames seeping through the cracks.

Kushina panted next to me, her strength almost exhausted.

"Kaito...what was that?" he asked, his voice shaking.

"An agreement," I responded shortly. "You trust my truth."

Kushina just nodded, she had nothing to lose.

Kushina concentrated all of her remaining chakra, channeling it into the seal, who staggered as she felt the energy flow into her.

He closed his eyes, a tremor running through his body as Kurama began to release his power.

An orange aura began to envelop her, growing in intensity until her hair rose with ferocious energy.

"Kurama, now!" I shouted, just as the barrier broke.

The roar that came out of Kushina was superhuman, a mix of her own voice and Kurama's.

The energy of the Nine-Tails was unleashed, taking shape in spectral tails that swept across the battlefield, sweeping away the Uchiha like leaves in a gale.

The Uchiha stepped back, their Susanoo wobbling under the pressure of the released energy.

But they couldn't hold out against the power of the bijuu.

Kurama pounced on them, breaking their defenses and destroying everything in his path.

The ground shook under the fury of their attack, and in a matter of seconds, what had been a desperate battle turned into a massacre.

Kaito could barely stand, his strength drained and his mind dazed by the intensity of the combat.

But most importantly, they had bought time.

Kushina, enveloped in Kurama's energy, turned towards him, her gaze now calm, yet fierce.

And I could see how the energy expelled Kushina, completely releasing Kurama's new mind into this world.

In the end Kushina separated from Kurama, taking away Kushina's remaining life force.

Kushina with fear in her eyes looked at me before using the gift of the wise man before anything.

The resurrection ticket materialized in my hand and I placed it on Kushina's forehead.

And some time later a golden glow appeared filled with energy to Kushina, returning life to her body.

Kushina opened her eyes again, letting out a smile when she saw me.

I nodded with a smile, barely able to respond, and together we set off into the forest, leaving the remains of the battle behind.

I could feel Kurama's energy behind us, enveloping us, protecting us as we ran through the trees, away from the immediate danger.

But I knew this was just the beginning.

The Uchiha wouldn't give up so easily, and what we had done today would have consequences.

The shadows of that vengeful clan loomed over us, more dangerous than ever.
