"If my purpose is to be a war weapon, I'll gladly be so. Why do you bother teaching me about humanity?" A lost child brought upon this world by the greed of humankind. "What am I exactly made out of? Humans arrogantly claim that they created an artificial human like me inside a lab, but... They aren't capable of creating me. Their technology can't create true life." Was it purely by human effort that a miracle like him was possible? "So the multiverse really does exist... I can satisfy my hunger for knowledge, and the mysteries behind my existence might finally be solved..." Is he really ready to bear the weight he is destined to bear? "These damn humans, they just want to use me for war! They don't care about me, they don't even see me as a human! For them, I am just a tool to be used and disposed of on their whims!" What happens when something which isn't supposed to exist, does? What will happen to the esoteric strings of fate when a being outside of its chains roams free? And what happens if this supposed being possesses talents and abilities considered impossible by the world itself? It's just Chaos. Discord- https://discord.gg/GkVmSkr8

How dare they.

{5 years later}

"Oi Aster! Look! I MADEE IIIITTTT!!! :D"

"Ain't no way you actually created it, you serious?"

"Dead serious bro. Look, this is no doubt my masterpiece in all its glory."

Havien said as he came running down the hallway holding a mask in both hands. This mask was black in color, with a red, spiderman-mask-shaped eyepiece attached on the right side with zigzag lines extending from it and at the right a white, circular-shaped eyepiece with right-angled lines extending from it.

"Wow! Great job! You actually made it! Now, what does it do?"

"... you fucker, you don't even know what it does and you're celebrating... Whatever. Listen here, you ignorant peasant. This divine creation is the fruit of my Ph.Ds in weapon engineering, quantum mechanics, and semiconductors as well as my unmatched genius.

This device is what I call an all-rounder, ideal assistor. When you wear this mask, It will automatically perfectly fit in your face, also making it unable to be removed by anyone else except you. How so? Nanomachines, son. Plus it has night vision, distance-graph vision, gamma vision, radio, sonar, ultraviolet, x-ray, zoom, etc. I literally added whatever things which can be seen. Plus, it has a mental link from which I can give commands to it by just thinking about it. Oh also, did I mention that I added an AI that is powered by a quantum computer? It provides an extremely efficient user interference which helps me to..."

Havien kept rambling on and on about his mask. This was a thing that took a genius like him a whole year to create. Most probably, this is the most advanced piece of weapon technology this world has ever seen. Havien has every right to brag.

Unfortunately, the one who Havien was bragging to was lost in his own world, playing video games.

"Oi old fart. Did you listen?"

"What? Yeah, I heard it, I heard it..."

"I said this mask can help you beat Dark Souls 8."

"WHAT? Really? Wow, dude. You really are a genius, now gimme that for a sec. I just need it to beat this boss..."

"This fucking old shit. I ain't giving it to you. Even if you take it, I have designed it to be only usable by me."

"...whatever, false alarm."

"fuck off."

This has been the relationship between Havien and Aster for the last 5 years. After Havien rejected going to school, Aster asked Havien to find a hobby and pursue it. Till then, the only thing Havien had done was learn and study, so as a hobby, Havien decided to further his studies and his career as a researcher and a physicist. He became an anonymous scientist under the name Dr. Aster Quack, and won 3 noble prizes. He also created many prototypes of advanced personal equipment, to which Aster commented, 'It looks like it came from a high-budget sci-fi movie.'

While he did all that, he also lived quite an extravagant, but normal life with Aster. The latter took him on trips, played games with him, and in general, had fun. Although Havien would never say it himself, he and Aster had gotten quite close.

"Hey, Havien, the thing is, one of my old college buddies suddenly called me up for a reunion. I haven't seen them in a long time, so I'm going. It may take a few days, so stay here, got it?"

"If you to go then go, why are you telling me to stay here? What am I? A child?"

"Exactly. You're a child. A child who can't cook properly. I have left food in the fridge, so heat it up when you feel hungry. You can also contact me if something is wrong."

"...so what if I can't cook? I can actually survive on water-"

"Don't do that."

"But-"

"No."

.

.

.

"got it."

Havien backed down on the firm rejection of Aster. He knew Aster can be pretty mad when you reject him when he's serious. Once upon a time, he went a week without food when Aster was gone overseas on business. When Aster came back, he scolded Havien pretty harshly and took away his game privileges for a whole week, which led to him feeling pretty depressed.

Much to Havien's dismay, he has become a game addict and an otaku. All due to the bad parenting of Aster.

"Well then, bye, see you."

"Goodbye! I hope your plane crashes :)"

"...*sigh*"

Aster left with a sigh. He truly sometimes wonders if it's his fault or Havien's own that he turned out like this.

.

"It's been 4 days, it's taking longer than I expected. Did his plane really crash?" Havien wondered while looking at his phone while anxiously pacing around.

"No, there is no news that a plane crashed... where is he..."

While Havien was pacing around, suddenly, a random number call rang in his phone. Such a thing caught Havien off guard for a fraction of a second, but he immediately composed himself and worked his brain on full throttle.

'Only Aster knows this number, but I'm getting a random call. He's not the type to call from an unknown number, nor is he the type to ever lose his phone or get his phone stolen. That means it's not him calling, but someone who got this number from Aster. Giving my number to someone else is such a risky matter that I'm sure Aster wouldn't have done it. That only leaves one thing,'

Havien picked up the phone and answered in a frosty voice,

"Hello, kidnappers."

"...My oh my, look at this! We got someone who's smart."

"How much?"

"Not beating around the bushes, are you? Fine, 10 million dollars. Not negotiable. My informant has told me that he is quite important to the UN, I'm sure they can fork out that much for his life."

Havien ran and wore his mask, and sneakily connected the phone to the mask using the mental link.

'Trace location'

"Give me 2 days to arrange it. Tell me the location."

"We ain't taking hard cash. Give it in bitcoin, on the account we are going to send you. Don't bother investigating 'cause it ain't gonna trace back to us."

'Location traced. Using GPS to actively track all nearby entities.' The AI responded to Havien, which made him pump his fist silently.

"Fine, send me a video of him unharmed, only then are you getting your money."

"Got it. It's nice to talk to someone this understanding. I hope you are sensible enough to not call the cops."

*beep* *beep* The call ended. Havien stood silent for a moment...

"ha...haha...hahahaha....AHAHAHAHAHAAA... Damn, these fuckers. I'm pretty sure I know who they really are,

Looks like they forgot that I'm a weapon. A self-operating, living, catastrophic, weapon. Made personally to wipe them out."

Havien talked to himself as he walked towards his room.

"I need to make some examples out of these bastards, so they won't try this stupid shit again."

Inside the room, there was a ton of sci-fi-looking gear, armor, weapons and other things that one will only see in movies, with the exception that they somewhat work better than the movies.

"How dare they mess with Aster."
