Azrael extended his arm toward me, a silent invitation for me to link my arm with his. I eyed him suspiciously

"Do as I say" he sighed

The next moment we were in front of a large castle as I gazed at it with awe

" I thought we were going to your place, what is all this about"

" We were and we have arrived, well don't just stand there and let's go in."

With a graceful sweep of his hand, he gestured towards the castle's massive doors, his posture radiating confidence and authority. I hesitated for a moment, still trying to process the sudden change in scenery, before falling into step beside him as we made our way towards the imposing entrance.

As we crossed the threshold into the castle's opulent foyer, I couldn't help but marvel at the grandeur that surrounded me. And as Azrael led the way deeper into the heart of his home, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to this castle—and its enigmatic owner—than met the eye

We reached the grand hall or whatever, don't mind me it's not everyday I get invited to a castle

"Close your mouth Ms. Estelle, such inappropriate and unladylike behaviour"

I snapped my mouth shut, cheeks flushing with embarrassment at Azrael's chastisement. "Sorry," I mumbled, feeling like a fool for letting my awe get the best of me. "It's just... not every day I get invited to a castle."

Azrael's expression softened slightly, a hint of amusement dancing in his eyes. "I understand," he said, his tone more gentle than before. "But remember, appearances are important, especially in the company of demons."

I nodded, chastened by his words, and followed him further into the grand hall. Despite my embarrassment, I couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder at the splendour that surrounded me. As I took in the ornate furnishings and intricate tapestries that adorned the walls, I couldn't shake the feeling that this was just the beginning of a night filled with surprises.

'Well since we are arrived, they will be here around in a minute'"

Suddenly, the atmosphere shifted, as if the very air crackled with an otherworldly energy. From the shadows emerged seven figures, their presence commanding the attention of the entire room.

"Well let's start over, will you allow me.", his voice smooth as velvet yet laced with an unmistakable edge, I nodded unsure because I couldn't understand what was happening

"I am Azrael, the eldest of the demon prince, and it is my pleasure to introduce you to my brothers'"

'wait demon prince the-'

"The second sibling, you have already met before, Xavian, your guide for the rest of the year"

"Estelle," Xavian's voice was low and lethargic as he acknowledged my presence, his eyes half-lidded with disinterest. "Yes, I remember you. Try not to be too bothersome."

He sighed heavily as if my mere existence was an inconvenience to him. "I suppose I'll be your guide for the remainder of your time here," he muttered, sounding more resigned than anything else. "Let's get this over with quickly."

With a languid movement, he turned and began to walk, his pace slow and deliberate. "But don't expect me to entertain you."

'ah, what now!'

"The third is Kazimir, He's the family's resident comedian, always ready to bring a smile to everyone's face, and too good for his kind but don't mistake his personality its nice to fool prey at a different more friendly approach."

Azrael said more sinisterly as the attention was brought to a certain guy with tranquil ocean-coloured hair which was in a tousled man bun style and he had a beautiful pair of gold eyes shimmer like molten gold, their hue a mesmerizing blend of warmth and intensity. Each glance is like catching a glimpse of sunlight dancing upon a hidden treasure, their golden depths holding secrets untold

"Ah, Estelle," Kazimir would say with a gracious smile, his tone smooth and polished as he approached her. "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

His eyes, a captivating shade of gold, would shimmer with a playful glint as he continued, "I've heard quite a bit about you already. They say you're the new addition to our illustrious family here at the academy. A human amongst demons—quite the intriguing twist, wouldn't you agree?"

Leaning in slightly, Kazimir's voice would lower to a conspiratorial whisper, a mischievous smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "As for me, well, I suppose you could say I'm the resident entertainer," he'd say with a wink. "Always ready with a joke or a clever quip to brighten everyone's day."

Straightening up, he'd cast a casual glance around the room before turning his attention back to Estelle, his gaze lingering on her with an intensity that belied his easygoing demeanour.

"Well..umm a pleasure to meet you too and I hope we get well along," I said nervously

"Fourth we have Malphus, whom you already met at Demonic gardening class." Malphus appeared out of the shadow and he let out a sigh as if he was already tired of all this

"Indeed," Malphus replied, his voice dripping with arrogance as he glanced around the room with a dismissive air. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance once more," he added, though his tone suggested anything but pleasure.

His golden eyes flashed with a hint of annoyance, betraying his frustration at being forced to endure such trivialities. "Let us not waste any more time with unnecessary pleasantries," he continued, his tone clipped and impatient. "I trust we all have more important matters to attend to."

Well, fancy meeting you here, Mr. Sunshine," she quipped, her voice dripping with sarcasm as she addressed him. "I was beginning to wonder if all that brooding was just for show."

"oops it wasn't supposed to come out loud" I said non-apologetically

A ripple of laughter echoed through the room at her boldness, catching Malphus off guard and earning a few surprised glances from those around them. Despite his best efforts to maintain his composure, Malphus couldn't help but crack a begrudging smile at Estelle's audacity, begrudgingly acknowledging her ability to hold her own in the face of his arrogance.

With that, Malphus turned on his heel, his posture rigid with pride as he strode away, leaving behind an atmosphere thick with his palpable aura of superiority. perhaps there is more than what meets the eye with this human.

"Next we have Abraxas, although he's useful to the family his behaviour is quite … something amusing, " Azrael said as he looked at him disapproving but all this turned a blind eye to Abraxas

As Abraxas approached Estelle, his movements took on a deliberate grace, each step bringing him closer to her until they were mere inches apart. With a charming smile playing on his lips, he reached out to lightly brush a stray lock of hair from her face, his touch sending a shiver down her spine.

"Well done, my dear," he murmured, his voice low and velvety as he leaned in, his breath mingling with hers. "Challenging someone like Malphus takes a special kind of courage."

His fingers lingered on her cheek, tracing a tantalizing path along her jawline before coming to rest beneath her chin. His amber eyes danced with mischief as he tilted her chin upward, his gaze locking with hers in an electrifying moment of connection.

"But then again, bravery has always been an irresistible quality in a woman," he whispered, his voice husky with desire. "Especially when paired with such undeniable beauty."

"W-what a-re you doing?!" I panicked as I tried to push him away

Abraxas's touch lingered, his fingers trailing down the curve of her neck in a teasing caress. With a playful smile, he leaned in closer, his lips hovering just inches from hers as he whispered, "I must say, Estelle, you've certainly captured my attention."

Before she could respond, he pressed a feather-light kiss to her cheek, his lips lingering for a tantalizing moment before pulling away. "I do hope we'll have the chance to get better acquainted," he added, his tone filled with promise as he took a step back, leaving Estelle breathless.

'I'll make sure I keep a distance from that flirt scum.' my face clearly showed annoyance, irritation and displeasure.

Azrael, observing the exchange with a mixture of displeasure and amusement, stepped forward with a commanding presence. His expression was stern, his golden eyes flashing with authority as he addressed Abraxas.

"Abraxas," he began, his voice carrying the weight of authority, "while I appreciate your... charm, there is a time and a place for such behaviour."

His gaze bore into Abraxas's with an intensity that brooked no argument. "We are here to conduct ourselves with dignity and respect, not to indulge in frivolous flirtations," he continued, his tone firm and unwavering.

"Your actions reflect not only upon yourself but upon our entire family," Azrael admonished, his voice echoing with a hint of disappointment. "I expect better from you."

"Oh here, we go again, chill out and let loose for a while." he said as he laughed flirtatiously, "I'll be seeing you more often my little vixen." The bastard left after kissing my knuckles in a manner so fast that one could have missed it with a blink

"Lastly the twins Larkin and Varin the sixth and seventh princes respectively."

As Azrael introduced the final two figures, Estelle's gaze shifted to the twins, Larkin and Varin, the sixth and seventh princes of the demon realm. Their presence seemed to carry a weight of authority, yet there was an air of mystery surrounding them that intrigued Estelle.

"Larkin, Varin," Azrael's voice reverberated through the room, commanding attention. "Welcome."

The twins exchanged a glance before Larkin, the elder of the two, stepped forward. His demeanour was composed, his features cloaked in a mask of impassivity as he regarded Estelle with an intensity that sent a shiver down her spine.

"Estelle," Larkin's voice was smooth as silk, each word dripping with a subtle menace that set her on edge. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you."

"umm, me too?" That came out as a squeek

His gaze bore into hers with an unwavering intensity, as if trying to unravel the secrets hidden beneath her surface. "I trust you'll find your time here at the academy... enlightening," he added, his tone laced with a hint of intrigue.

Varin, on the other hand, remained silent, his eyes fixed on Estelle with a curious intensity. There was something about him that set him apart from his brother, a quiet intensity that hinted at depths of power yet to be revealed.

As the silence stretched between them, Estelle felt a sense of unease settle over her. There was something about the twins that made her skin crawl, a primal instinct warning her to tread carefully in their presence.

"Well, it seems we have quite the gathering," Azrael interjected, breaking the tension that hung heavy in the air. "I trust you'll all get along famously."

With a graceful sweep of his hand, he gestured for Estelle to join them, his golden eyes alight with amusement. "Now, shall we begin?" he asked, his voice carrying a note of anticipation.

The twins looked similar yet they seemed to have different personalities, Larkin seemed more of sun and joy based on his bright clothing, with Larkin's hair a dazzling platinum blonde, cascading in lustrous waves around his chiselled face. Each strand glimmers as if kissed by sunlight, framing his sharp features with an ethereal glow. His piercing emerald eyes hold a captivating depth, sparkling with intelligence and a playful hint of mischief. Like hidden treasures, they beckon the viewer with a magnetic allure, promising secrets yet to be discovered while Varin's hair is a velvety midnight black, cascading in glossy waves that frame his captivating face. It absorbs light, creating an aura of mystery around him. His deep emerald eyes hold a mesmerizing intensity, seeming to peer into the depths of one's soul. They radiate a quiet power and wisdom, hinting at experiences beyond imagination.

"Well umm it was nice to meet you all" I regretted after I said that, I felt really dumb after saying that but what was I to say afterwards, all I got were some approval nods, some smiles and others well … they didn't care.

Just hope I'll be able to survive all of them for the rest of the year.
