Chapter 92 - Unohana vs Erix 2

Erix knew that the only thing that even hopes to defeat someone Unohana are those are extremely far in their power that she should be an ant fighting a god for that person to win against her.

An individual who had unbelievable power wouldn't be able to keep up to the rapid growing power of Unohana. She wasn't fighting to win but to simply fight. Her battle IQ and experience almost made her extremely formidable.

'If I don't have ultimate skills and simply rely on the yggdrasil system then it'll most likely be a tough battle.'

She has repaired not only her wound but also her clothes. Their hearts were pounding in excitement as Erix propelled himself forward thrusting his spear at high velocity but Unohana was able to block the attack with her blade.

Unohana was relieved that their battle could be prolonged however long they desired. She watched as Erix held his spear in carefree manner over his shoulder.

"Just how long has it been since someone injured me this much~ Haa~ This is so exhilarating~"

As soon as she finished speaking, Spiritual Power gathered around her hand, which she casually swiped above one of her wounds, healing it instantly.

"You know, there was only one reason for me to learn how to heal people with Kido, a technique from my world."

As she continued speaking, her hand resumed moving as well as it wandered from wound to wound, healing them instantly as a deranged smile appeared on Unohana's face.

"I learned it to keep my opponent and me alive for as long as I can, to savor the fight as much as I can. Let's fight to our heart's content!"

Unohana's blood crazed tone contrasted by her rather stoic face made it even more horrifying but for someone like Erix. It only made him more excited and eager to obtain her everything.

"A strong woman always makes me excited! Especially someone who loves the thrill of battle!! Let's do our best to kill each other!!"

Erix also let loose his desire and instantly showed his five eyes that surprised Unohana and Sona who was watching from afar feeling a sense of dread.

Their weapons collided with one another producing loud explosions that constantly echoed through the arena as the two clashed again.

Unohana formed a crazed smile as her blood was splattered everywhere after every clash just for her wounds to close instantly.

'This is it! This is what I have been carving all my life! A fight! A real fight! This is the best moment of my life!'

Unohana thought to her the thing that she had long for her entire life. She avoided a series of thrust from Erix while sending a barrage of corrosive liquid toward him that he easily dispelled with his spear.

"Hahaha, amazing!!! Your graceful swordsmanship and flawless movement are honed beyond perfection! Fighting someone who uses pure skill is always so exhilarating! Show me more!! I want more."

Erix said releasing his four armed form, however, this didn't slow Unohana down and simply saw that she got stronger meaning their fight was far from over.

Yet again, the duo clashed, resulting in Erix's spear piercing into Unoha's shoulder and leaving a gash on her cheek. Nevertheless, Unohana continued the attack as she expertly weaved through Erix's onslaught of thrust and deadly slashes.

Erix even began using his other arms to strike Unohana down but she vanished using [ Instant Transmission ] and this caught him by surprise allowing her to land a solid hit behind him launching Erix into the ground as a pool of corrosive blood erupted.

He managed to land on his feet but received a considerable amount of damage and recovered rather quickly.

'She is even able to grow and use Spirit fission to disrupt me. The fact that she can go from the threshold of True Demon Lord close to someone concealed state Milim.'

Erix accurately deduces having spread his sensing across the continent of Central Axis World and even discovered that the other side of the planet was the new world from Overlord in which he plans on visiting in the future.

A massive spherical energy launched towards her disintegrates the corrosive blood around them. Unohana's eye widened in shock but immediately retaliated by sending a stream of her corrosive blood that managed to counter the attack.

He appeared next to her and swung downward only for her to redirect the spears and slash towards him but he was able to grab her wrist and strike her face with his other arm yet she vanished once again and reappeared behind him.

She had a smile plastered on her face that smeared with blood and Erix parried against her using his arms alones by coating it with True Demon lord Haki.

For a split moment the arena trembled with anticipation, Unohana held tightly into her Zanpakuto releasing an ominous aura. The air thickened as a pool of corrosive substance emerged from her blade, dripping with lethal intent.

With a smile on her face, Unohana advanced towards Erix. The corrosive pool trailed behind her, leaving a sizzling path on the arena floor. Erix twirled his spear with precision, his multiple arms moving in a well choreographed manner showing his skilled coordination.

With a swift motion, Unohana lunged forward, the corrosive pool extending towards Erix. The spear-wielder skillfully evaded the initial assault, his four arms moving gracefully. However, Unohana's relentless pursuit forced Erix into a defensive stance.

Erix retaliated, thrusting his spear towards Unohana's position. She gracefully sidestepped the attack, but Erix's relentless assault continued. Unohana's corrosive pool served as both offense and defense, dissolving the incoming strikes with ease.

The arena echoed with the clash of elements as Unohana and Erix engaged in a deadly dance. The corrosive substance hissed and bubbled, creating an eerie atmosphere. Erix, undeterred, adapted his tactics, utilizing his multiple arms to strike from unpredictable angles.

Unohana anticipated Erix's movements and manipulated the corrosive pool to form a defensive barrier, deflecting the onslaught of spear thrusts.

Unohana felt like her youth was returning and the only other person who could make her feel this much joy was Zaraki Kenpachi; however, that man fought like a wild beast, recklessly swinging his sword around. Fighting someone like Erix gave Unohana a totally different level of satisfaction.

'Haa~ This is so great. Just like Kenpachi, Erix is holding back, I can feel it, but this time it's different. he's allowing me to indulge in my desire~'

The duo's weapons clashed again; however, as soon as Unohana stopped sliding backward, her body started swaying left and right, resulting in her falling to her knees.

"Haa~ Haa~ Damn, I was having so much fun that I didn't even notice how exhausted I was."

As she said that, she glanced over her own body, which was ridden with small wounds that no longer healed, causing her to frown.

"Phew, seems like you are out of steam, Unohana-san. How was it? Did you enjoy yourself?"

Hearing Erix's question, the maniac grin on Unohana's face widened further as her madness-ridden eyes landed on Erix.

"It was the best thing that ever happened to me. I don't think anyone, but you could make me feel like this. A pity, I would have loved to indulge in fighting even more, but I guess this is the end for me."

Erix stood towering over her as he placed the spear over his shoulder once more and tilted his head.

"You end? What are you talking about? Pretty sure your wounds are far from lethal."

This time it was Unohana's time to look at Erix in confusion as she resumed talking.

"What are you talking about? My wounds certainly aren't lethal, but aren't you going to finish me off? You did mention killing each other and I've obtained what I wanted."

She answered uncaringly about her own death while Erix wryly smiled scratching his cheek.

"Ah no, I can't kill because the chat group prevents me from doing so, but also, aren't you wasting your chance to fight more thrilling battles? The cosmos and other worlds are vast where you are bound to find even more challenges."

Erix of course can defy this rule if he wanted but didn't want to kill Unohana and slowly tried to creep his influence into her heart.

"Pity but I am looking forward to our next battle, Erix."

Unohana said as her bankai dispelled having exhausted herself from the fight and unable to go any longer as she almost fell only for Erix to step in and catch her.

"Woah you alright? Here, have this, it will restore you to full health." Erix took out the potion and handed it to Unohana who refused.

"No, I'll be fine." Unohana refused, making Erix frowned and nodded.

"Fine, have it your way." Erix said, storing the potion while Unohana stepped back from his arms as they head out of the arena.

"Tell me honestly, were you going all out? Or at least saw me as an opponent?" Unohana asked and Erix stopped to consider things.

"My true strength is a tricky question but in a way, you did more than I expected considering I'm a living cheat." Erix said making Unohana feel both dissatisfied and happy at the same time.

They appeared in the spectator where the duo found Sona seem like she saw them in a different light now after the fight.

'She looks cute when nervous.' Erix thought seeing Sona's face looking scared simply standing next to them.

"Hope you enjoy the show." He said and she took a moment before she could respond.

"T-That was my first time seeing someone that I assume has the power of Maou Class devil." Sona stuttered nervously while Erix chuckled and Unohana returned to her facade giggling lightly.

"Relax, we won't bite. I like to fight but I'm not someone who indulges in bullying the weak."

Unohana said having countless heinous crimes before but she never directly killed innocent or weaker than her.

Sona felt unconvinced but decided to stay quiet as they saw the arena restored to how it was before once the duo left.

"I guess it's my turn to use it."
