As Superman closed the distance, hurtling through the air with unparalleled speed, the shockwaves of his impending strike reverberated throughout the beleaguered city.
The once-thriving metropolis now lay in ruins, scarred by the relentless onslaught of Parademons dispatched by Darkseid to wreak havoc.
Aquaman decided to assist his allies by charging at Darkseid with his trident extending for a decisive strike.
However, Darkseid showcased his immense power by effortlessly deflecting Aquaman's attack with a swift motion of his hands.
As Superman approached to aid Aquaman. However Darkseid didn't let him and with a calculated move, unleashed a devastating slap that swatted the Man of Steel like a fly hurtling through numerous buildings, each structure crumbling in the wake of his powerful impact.
Aquaman saw the omega beam heading towards and seeing it was impossible to avoid and block but the plot armor itself appeared in the form of Batman who threw the batarang that managed to save Aquaman from certain death.
"Focus! Direct confrontation won't do any of us good. Best we can do is somehow get rid of them." Batman said seeing they won't win the fight but will at least win the war for now.

Superman pulled back his hand and struck Darkseid who parried and redirected the attack then punched the man of steel that caused him to lose a tooth and then received another punch in the gut resulting in a shockwave.
"Superman!"
Wonder woman saw him flew several feet next to her as she was struggling to fight against the Omega beam shielding herself with her shield and whipped out her lasso then use to grabbed hold of Darkseid in the leg and tried tripped her but this only made the Lord of Apokolips smirked as he grabbed the lasso and pulled Wonder woman.
She was dragged but used the momentum to get closer and took out her sword where Darkseid saw this and was grazed by it but not enough and returned the favor by slamming his knuckle into Wonder woman shield shattering with his might.
Wonder woman felt her body go numb from the attack and her face grabbed by Darkseid that was slammed into the ground that created a massive crater. Martian Manhunter helped using his telekinesis to lift hold Darkseid then flew to strike the god of Tyranny who felt the forces.
The kryptonian wiped the blood from his mouth and flew at high speed helping Martian Manhunter as they all jumped on Darkseid who started to get overwhelmed by the attack on all sides.
Wonder woman recovered enough and helped by cutting through Darkseid shinned causing him to scream in pain but this only made their opponent more ruthless and stopped playing around!
He grabbed Martian Manhunter and Superman then slammed their head together enough to cause them to pass out then grabbed their face and slammed into the ground before vanishing from his spot and appeared behind Wonder Woman who tried to stab him.
Darkseid pulled his hand back charging with power and the impact sent rippled in the air as Wonder woman felt the bones shattered from the impact and before she could fall grabbed her by the hair and struck her face once again until she was knocked out and all bloody.
She was unable to fight back as Darkseid stood on top of Superman while Martian Manhunter tried to get up but was being forced by Darkseid's presence.
