Chapter 53 - Mission Accomplished

I want to know since I'm unsure if I had correctly scaled tensura power. 

How would Veldanava or the powerhouses compare to Marvel powerhouses? Or even Dc powerhouses.

For me I don't even place Veldanava at One above all scale. 

Also, How do they fare with Dragon balls? Like milim to a God of destruction. Anyway, next couple chapter focuses on Tensura now.

After arriving in the Gourmet Verse, Erix made use of his ability and placed markers to travel back using his ultimate skill [ Lord of the Rift, Ginnungagap ]. He pondered if it would work considering he won't be traveling between pocket dimensions but rather a whole different cosmology. 

"Here, it's done. Itadakimasu." Toriko handed some of the Snake frogs while he devoured his pieces while Jean, Raven, and Erina were skeptical of the taste and looked at Erix and took a bite where his eyes lit up as he was simply amazed at how tender and juicy the meat was compared to high quality beef. 

'Damn….I need some wine.' Erix reached down to his pocket and pulled out a flask containing high quality wine which was perfectly paired with the drink. 

Jean felt his emotion because of their soul link and felt salivating as she quickly took a bite of the Snake Frog and experienced a euphoric flavor. 

"Wow, I didn't expect to taste like this…" Jean remarked, finding the meat simply melted inside her mouth, almost unbelievably soft and tender. Raven decided to try it and took a bite immediately causing her eyes to widen at the deep flavor. 

Normal food doesn't have the same quality that contains gourmet Energy meaning that the world itself enhances the flavor of every ingredient. Erix added it to his library to recreate later and hopefully would still contain gourmet Energy. He plans on adding the energy to their livestock to improve the quality of them. He glances at Raven who tries to hide her excitement but clearly enjoys the food like the others. 

'Even without any season, the richness of the meat still shines…is this because of the gourmet energy that Erix mentions?' Erina thought to herself, having her tongue swum in a familiar yet different taste that she never had before. She expected the meat to be hard and chewy but it wasn't and didn't even leave an aftertaste. Erina wondered if she could bring some back to his home and experiment with making new dishes. 

A few minutes later, Toriko and the others sensed something and everyone stood up preparing themselves to fight. Erix was fascinated seeing the monster and based on what he could sense from it, then the threat level would be around C Rank and close to D Rank adventurer from Central Axis World.

This is factoring that normal soldiers from Tensura would have skills, arts, magic, and many more that add to their arsenal and power. Erix doesn't downplay the power scale of Gourmet Verse considering Jirou was at least Large planet scale, especially the Eight King which was a powerful monster in the Gourmet Verse. 

"Everyone stepped back. Something is wrong." Toriko senses something different than it appears and watches as the Galala Gator mutates growing larger seemingly entering a frenzy state where it was not only a 300 year old Galala Gator but something had changed it to become more violent. 

Erina normally felt afraid yet somehow felt calm and pondered what would be the reason. She guessed that Erix had cast some spell that helped her compose herself from the fight. Still, she could feel her body tense up staring at the humongous gator looking down at them menacingly. 

Raven already had a level of mastery over her mind and didn't need the enchantment but Erix cast it anyway and the same goes for Jean considering she fought some monster before back in her universe. 

"Erina, guard Komatsu. Raven, Jean try restraining it. Me and Toriko handle killing it." Erix said showing his experience in combat when he had a party with everyone. He sensed that Gourmet Energy was expanding from the Galala Gator and that the capture level rose even further than before. 

To him, even how many levels don't have the power to even scratch him but perhaps his concealed state still heavily overestimates them. 

'Arryn, why is it different from the canon?' Erix recalled it was different and a lot weaker than what's in front of him exuding a more apex predator compared to what the series had shown. Though, even if it increases the strength of any beast in the Gourmet world, he is still stronger even at his base strength without added magic and skills. 

[ Someone drugged it that allow the Galala gator to accelerate its aging and increase its strength and appeared they intended to let it grow and then hunt it later to obtain the flavor of the meat. ] Arryn explained scanning the body of the Galala Gator that had grown significantly larger, around 5 times its normal size. 

{ I believe that its strength would be around B to A Rank. } Amaia estimated the strength and threat level coming from the Galala Gator that was looking down at them. 

Roooooaaaaar!!!!

The thundering sound reverberated through the air shaking the entire place rupturing the ears of anyone who is not strong enough and stunning many of the beasts in the surrounding. It was akin to listening to an airplane engine right in front of your ears. 

Fortunately, Erix cast a barrier protecting Komatsu since he needs them for later. Raven conjured tangible darkness that wrapped around the Galala Gator while Jean used her Mind control to restrain the mind of the beast but it was far too violent and chaotic deciding to use her telekinesis to help retrain it instead. 

However, the Galala Gator was more ferocious than they anticipated and opened its mouth where Toriko was dumbstruck at what he was witnessing and saw that the capture level was growing higher and higher until it reached over 2000+ capture level.

"Crap! It's actually getting stronger!!" Toriko grew serious exuding a demonic aura around him manifesting an Oni behind him that shook the Galala Gator but this only made it even stronger and gourmet Energy began to gather within its mouth blasting a powerful beam towards them. 

Toriko is shocked and dodged but finds himself having already been out of the blast radius including everyone. He couldn't believe his eyes upon looking at Erix who also began to manifest as a demon but he was more of an Asura than an Oni.  

He then vanished and the next moment the Galala Gator was sent every dozen feet into the air and Erix held out his hand conjuring a speed in his hands then threw it directly into the head of the Galala Gator. 

The explosive impact sent the monster back into the ground resulting in a fissure of crack and a large crater. Toriko was confused about what power he was using since it was clearly not Gourmet Energy and wanted to ask but knew he needed to help and rushed towards the Galala Gator who was still alive.

"Itadakimasu." Toriko did a prayer and formed his hand into a knife shape aiming for its neck only for him to be caught surprised by how thick its scales were and forced to step back while Erix appeared beside him as Jean and Raven helped restrain its moment. It roared in annoyance whipping its tail around and stomping the ground violently erupting into explosive forces that can be seen kilometers away. 

It formed another beam attack from its mouth towards Jean who was flying above and seeing the attack decided to use her phoenix force bursting into a flame aura that surprised Toriko but he was occupied in trying to pierce its body while she flames attack that canceled out the gourmet blast exploding upon impact. 

Erix was above and exuded a powerful axe kick combined with Toriko who leaped towards its jaw and shut its mouth. The Galala Gator experienced immense pain and shook its body to escape them then stood its hind legs before slamming into the ground resulting in a shockwave that pushed away everything except Erina and Komatsu who was in a protective barrier. 

Erina didn't try to join seeing she was not suited to fight and would shine later when she cooked its meat. She wondered would the trouble of hunting this monstrosity even worth it? 

Despite its biblical proportions, it was extremely agile and nimble, using its tail as a whip and attacking only to collide with Erix causing a loud impact and forming a cloud of dust. Toriko saw this and was afraid that Erix might have died from the attack considering he would be pushed back by an attack like the aftershock that demolished a large part of the Jungle.  

Raven looked worried for Erix but knew he was stronger and wouldn't actually die after seeing him being burnt by Jean's cosmic flames. She concentrated on restraining Galala Gator who roared trying to escape her tangible darkness.

Meanwhile, Jean remained calm sensing the link with Erix and knew that she was alive, not to mention seemed more excited. She helped Raven manipulate the Galala Gator to the ground since using her cosmic flames would destroy the meat that they were planning on taking. 

"Not bad, here take this." In the blink of an eye, Toriko saw Erix appear above the Galala Gator clenching its fist and striking the beast pushing the air around them bypassing its defense due to his Ultimate skill [ Lord of Vengeance, Simikiel ] that will always hit a target regardless of distance and defense. 

However, he raises his eyebrow when the Galala Gator is still able to move and resist his attack. Erix was holding back bringing around 3% of his concealed state strength. In his concealed state, his power would be around 30% of his true form.  

"Great work! It's now my turn." Toriko appeared on top of its head taking a deep breath and preparing for an attack. Erix watched closely, interested in the way he used his technique. 

[ Nail Punch ] 

The impact of his strike shattered its scale then continued to get strike despite Toriko not landing an attack and Erix summoned his spear then shot it straight to the opening of Toriko's attack. The Galala Crocodile spawned for a few moments before it fell into the ground losing its strength and then soon its life.
