Chapter 42 - Phoenix Force

Erix waited for their message since they were watching the video that he made Arryn edit and remove some gore knowing that the other members, especially Erina, aren't used to it. He may be evil and ruthless but not a degenerate fiend and does have emotion. Erix might use some enticing charm to increase his chances with them.

God Tongue: It's like I'm watching a movie.

Cosmic Phoenix Host: What happened to those pig men?

Demon Goth Girl: I'm curious as well. Did you kill all of them?

Scarlet King; Of course not, they were all under the effect of their skills that eroded their ability to rationally think but once we defeated the leader had finally freed them. I took them in since they are likely to be hunted down by Humans.

Cosmic Phoenix Host: Thank goodness, they appeared to have been freed by something from what you showed. What happened after?

Erix gave her a quick summary of everything including the backstory of the orc that saddens them but happy that took them in and gave most if not all of the Orc to work on physical labor to redeem themselves and provided the rest with a home. Jean Grey already began to view him as kind individual while Raven still skeptical of what kind of person he is.

Cosmic Phoenix Host: You're really kind to take them in.

Demon Goth Girl: Is that alright with them? You've killed their brethren.

God Tongue: Right, won't they plot revenge against you?

Scarlet King: Unlikely, they know what they've done is unforgivable even under the effect of the skill. Not to mention, I provide them with their necessities and killing me would lose their benefit.

"Not that they can kill me." Erix added that considering only the powerhouse within Central Axis could prove a challenge. He's ageless and physically unkillable due being a spiritual Lifeform.

Scarlet King: Just call me Erix, Ms.Grey.

Cosmic Phoenix Host: Then just call Jean then.

God Tongue: Second Wife!? I knew you were a pervert!! Disgusting!! How can you have two wives!?

Demon Goth Girl: Aren't you overreacting? If he's a king then I think it's normal for him to have more wives.

Cosmic Phoenix Host: Are you serious!?

Erix mentions it to at least make them aware and planting ideas until they eventually fall for him. He can't deny adding more beauties to his harem. Of course, he also likes to see their funny reaction when they learn he has a Harem.

'That's good, I was a bit worried there.' Erix felt relieve that they weren't lose when transferring in different places and turn his attention to his surroundings then noticed everyone was looking at him a bit shocked.

"My goodness, is this what you really look like?" Jean Grey first one to speak as Erix tilted his head then realized that he was in his true form rather than his concealed state.

'Why am I in my true form?'

Erix crossed his arms since his other two arms are connected on his back rather than his rib cage. He doesn't have bones and any restriction considering he's formless and only takes comfort in what he has now.

"Yeah, this is my true form even though I was in a concealed state. Anyway, I promise you're Jean Grey." He reverted back to his concealed state since they were somewhat uncomfortable to his true form. Not that they're scared beside Erina who is not used to seeing someone like Erix rather it's just distracting.

He took a moment to observe their beauty and can't deny that they were among the top list despite them excluding Erina having younger features than their main timeline counterpart. Erix already began to entice them to slowly seep into their mind, carefully making them like him.

Though, it won't go as far to completely brainwash them since Raven and Jean would notice concerning their powers. Erix pondered if their new skill would prevent it and still decided to try but in small amounts.

"Among the demons I've seen, I think you look the most human. But why do I sense something different from you?"

Raven didn't even mention the fact she couldn't feel his emotion and couldn't properly read his intention but her intuition was telling her that he was someone trustworthy but still remained vigilant. On the other hand, Erix already sense that she was trying to peer into his emotion but he blocked it through [ Lord of Deception, Lucifero ] denying her ability to him.

"Oh, is it my Holy Attribute? You'd be surprised but I'm a former Angel that guarded the Garden of Eden in my homeworld. Though, I was kicked for trying something Hehehe."

Erix was making up a back story and using Scarlet king's story to make it believable with slight alteration.

"An angel? Did you anger your god?" Erina asked not wanting to remain quiet and left out while Erix nodded.

"Ah yes, I tried to destroy the Tree of Life and Tree of Knowledge but that's for another time. Why don't we start, Jean?" She nodded as they all searched for where the arena was and found an entire empty coliseum where it was the perfect place to begin.

"Are you a telepath as well? Sorry if it sounds like I invaded your privacy but I can't sense anything from you besides this strange vibe." Erix smiled hearing how she felt discomfortable in trying to listen into his mind unlike Xavier who often mind r*pe people.

"I have resistance to mental attack. So stop trying to feel my emotion, Miss Roth."

Erix glanced at her and saw that she shrugged it off even though she was obviously slightly embarrassed. He chuckled before they arrived at their destination.

"You two, step aside since it might be dangerous."

They nodded as the two chatted a bit from the sideline while Erix instructed Jean to sit down before snapping his fingers placing themselves in [ Infinite Prison ]. Jean Grey was a bit surprised at the barrier being placed then Erix sat in front of her and said.

"Relax, I'm unsure if the barrier could withstand the Phoenix force." Erix couldn't underestimate the phoenix force and took it seriously, releasing his true power at maximum capacity surprising Jean and slightly scaring her.

"Don't be alarmed, I need to do this since the Phoenix is beyond space and time that goes beyond the conventional comprehension of mortals." Jean Grey is unsure if her decision was correct but dying in this place would give her great comfort knowing that there won't be anyone who would be harmed.

"Alright, I trust you." Erix nodded as he chanted the words that didn't change the atmosphere since the place is not normal dimension and only debuffed Jean Grey at ridiculous levels enough to make her feel normal. He let Arryn analyze it and began to use his [ Lord of Despair, Khahrakh] and [ Lord of Deception, Lucifero ] to break the seal within her.

She has three seal and each time he broke one released a massive wave of energy that Erix didn't waste anytime absorbed using the [ Lord of Gluttony, Beelzebuth ] allowing to feel an indescribable power flowing into his soul and entire being where he felt like the entire universe was him and him was the universe were he was infinite expanding outside rising beyond time and space reaching [ peak of a Demi-God Rank ].

He does not know the entire cosmology if comparing his to Marvel but knows that entities in that world are vastly too strong for him to handle at the moment.

Erix knows that it is impossible at his current level to be compared to the Phoenix force but he is at least capable of fighting off her host. Jean Grey slowly gained her sealed memory where it shattered revealing her childhood and everything in-between as she was overwhelmed by the emotion and at the last seal where Erix broke it released the Phoenix force like dam.

He put it aside and suddenly felt his mind was suddenly pulled somewhere and he appeared in white pale devoid of anything.
