40 36. Queasy Questions Part-2

Akio became even more aggressive now.He was bawling his eyes out.Somehow,he wanted time to stop but he could not understand why Mark was behaving as such.

"Mark,are you disgusted by me?"Akio questioned,seeing Mark's frown.

"Yes.I am totally disgusted by this.Infact,I am disgusted by you.You ran away four years ago leaving behind that lousy letter.What was the meaning of that?"Mark questioned,gritting his teeth and pushing Akio down with full force.

Akio fell down with a loud THUD.He was more hurt inside than outside. "But I sent letters to you every year,requesting you to come here.However,there was no reply from your side and I thought everything was over,but you answered one of my letters and came here.I was so happy."He narrated.

"But I did not get any letter and I came here due to my job.I didn't even know you are here.Whom did you send the letters to?"

"I sent them to Gu Ren."

Mark could not understand what Akio was trying to say.Why would Gu Ren not give him the letter? What does it have to do with him? Mark could not understand all this.He was feeling dizzy.The entire world was spinning around.Suddenly,everything turned black.

When he opened his eyes,he was in a completely different place.The chandelier right above his eyes was donned with original crystals.The pace had a scent of flowers with a hint of burnt paper,similar to the ones found in grand palaces.He hovered his eyes to check around the place when his eyes fixed upon the entrance.It was Akio,holding a tray of traditional Japanese breakfast.

Akio entered the room and sat down right beside Mark.

Mark grabbed his head,which was paining due to last night.Akio grabbed him and placed him close to his chest,stunning him.

"What is this place?"Mark asked.

"Welcome to Makoto House!"Akio exclaimed before feeding breakfast to Mark.It seems as if Akio was using Mark's trick on Mark itself because the breakfast and the kind gesture had melted his heart into a puddle but somehow,Mark had a disturbing feeling about all this.

Will Mark's instinct come true?
