Bloodline Memories
I had a very strange dream. I knew I was asleep and everything I saw was a figment of my imagination. But for some reason, part of me felt like every aspect of this dream was real. I felt like I was witnessing history through the eyes of a stranger. I dreamed of a crimson red dragon that was born inside a volcano. I felt like I was watching a very long movie, with countless events unfolding before my eyes. At this time I was able to feel the flow of energy around me and learn how to use it.
This crimson dragon was so ridiculously powerful that he alone managed to push humans, elves, and demons into a war against him, destroying much of the entire kingdom. It was a time when countless heroes rose and fell under his claws, where divine mages dominated the battlefields and yet were unable to defeat him. He crushed the army of three who had sworn to defeat him and yet he defeated them all.
Humans were the weakest of the species. They were the first to withdraw from the battlefield. Instead, the elves and demons continued their battles, as the war destroyed the entire kingdom. Suddenly, I was overlooking a huge battlefield. It seemed like the final decisive battle between the Crimson Red Dragon and the elves and demons allied against him. Even the King of the Elves and the King of Demons had intervened in this battle. I could sense that their very presence was a disturbance to the flow of energy, and that they were not meant to be here.
I watched their fight flatten the mountains, changing the entire landscape as they passed. The Elf King and the Demon King were indifferent to the lives of their followers who fell by the thousands every time they clashed.
