Sandy didn't come to see Henry the following days. Only I was with Henry during his stay in the hospital. Perhaps because of illness, I had never seen Henry so depressed. Every day, he would look out the window and mutter to himself.
"It's all my fault. She is such a conservative girl. Why was I in such a hurry? Why was I in such a hurry?" Henry said while slapping himself.
"It's all right. This is considered slow in comparison to the girls you've previously hooked up with."
"She's different."
"How is she different?"
"She..." Henry wanted to say something, but he was at a loss for words for a moment. "She's just different."
"Henry, please wake up. You seduced her for money. You're not an innocent boy..."
He was even more depressed after I scolded him.
At that moment, there was a crisp knock on the door.
"I... Can I come in?"
It was a voice Henry was very familiar with. He looked up excitedly, but the scene in front of him left him dumbfounded.
