Unexpected Visitor

After the fight with the giant skeleton monster, Akira, Miko were all knocked out during the battle.

Akira managed to kill the beast with all his strength, but the 2 have been seriously injured.

Miko was pierced through the stomach and the back of her left hand was bleeding from the claw marks.

Akira's injuries were too much and he passed out from the battle he finished.

Before Akira passed out, he was able to see someone stand in front of him only for a mere second...

5 hours later...

Akira started to slowly open his eyes, his vision was blurry but he could tell that he was laying down on a bed It was soft and comfortable.

Akira heard someone yelling out to him.

"Akira...are you okay?" the voice said.

"Lady Luna?" Akira questioned.

She showed her face in front of Akira.

"Yes, It's me my child" Luna said.

"W-where am I?" Akira asked as he fully opened his eyes and his vision cleared up.

He realized that someone had rescued him from the dungeon after the huge battle, his left hand was bandaged up, even his head was wrapped around with a bandaged.

"I'm so glad you're safe" Luna said tearing up.

"W-where's Miko?" Akira asked.

"She's alright, she took a serious hit but luckily she didn't suffer too much damage." Luna explained.

The nurse's healed you and Miko all up, and someone from the dungeon saved you.

"And the dwarf?" Akira asked.

"Yes, he's fine too. Though, I doubt he'll probably go back to the dungeon for a while. It was said he was poisoned and lost a lot of blood when he was brought back. He's alright though." Luna explained.

"Please worry about yourself for now Akira" Luna said comforting as she held her left hand on his forehead.

Akira got up from the bed but Luna refused to let him out of the bed until the doctor said he could.

"But...that skeleton giant, did someone kill it?" Akira asked as he didn't remember that he was the one to actually kill It.

"Hm? Everyone said you killed the beast Akira." Luna explained.

"I did?" Akira said as he looked at his left hand that was bandaged.

"Do you not remember? You're still recovering so It's understandable." Luna explained.

"But, I was knocked out during the fight when Miko was seriously injured, I only remember It being alive. I didn't kill It...there's no way" Akira explained what he could possible.

Luna thought for a moment.

"Well, I'm just glad you're okay. I don't know what I would of done If you've died on the 8th floor" Luna said.

A few moments later someone had walked into Akira's room.

"So Luna this is your child?" the strange man said, he was wearing a feathered hat and had brown eyes.

"Who is that?" Akira asked.

"That is Hermes, he's a god like me" Luna explained.

"So lord Hermes?" Akira said.

"Drop the lord part, you can just call me Hermes" Hermes explained.

"How are you doing kid?" Hermes asked.

"Well I'm here aren't I?" Akira said

"What a clever child Luna, despite him being the only one in your Crestania...I'm surprised that he was able to even rank up." Hermes complimented.

"W-wait, rank up?" Akira said confused.

"Hm? Did you not tell the kid he ranked up?" Hermes said

"Oh I forgot, I was worried about him so much that I forgot. Apparently while you were down there you ranked up. From E to D rank." Luna explained.

"H-huh?!?!" Akira shouted.

"And from your rank up, the gods will have a meeting again to figure out another title for you. Novice is no more" Hermes explained.

"Also It would seem that your stats increased a large amount. Your strength speed and defense stats, everything is pretty much higher than all E and possible D rank members" Luna explained.

"Well then Luna, It's time to leave him for a bit. We have to get going." Hermes said.

Luna sighed.

"Please do not move until you are permitted to, is that understood?" Luna demanded Akira.

"Y-yes..my lady" Akira said with a sad expression.

"Alright then, I'll be back with your new title soon. For now go ahead and eat the food on the table to your left" Luna said as she walked out of Akira's room with Hermes.

Akira thought for a moment, about the fight and how he and Miko survived.

"That fight, I didn't kill It though...but lady Luna told me Miko and the dwarf saw me take It on like It was nothing. But I don't remember that ever happening" Akira thought to himself.

"Someone must have saved us and killed It, perhaps maybe they gave me the credit? I'll have to ask the Task Force member who saved me and ask one of them If they slayed the Skeleton giant." Akira thought.

"Lady Luna said I can't move out of the bed unless told, but I wouldn't be able to move in my condition anyways." Akira said to himself.

Akira laid back in bed and went back to sleep.

"I guess..I'll figure all this out tomorrow" Akira said as he closed his eyes...
