Catherine was exiled from the palace and capital, so lots of the work was on Eleanor who wasn't capable or experienced in handling a lot of royal duties.
One of the royals has to represent the royal family. There was no one Eugenie could trust this task with. So Eugenie chose to attend.
Zander didn't want his wife to flash a fake smile and push herself through the event; hence, he joined her for a small change from their stressful work.
They were almost done with the event, when they noticed Arihan. Shortly Zander's aid infomed him Vidor and Alora were also there.
Zander didn't worry about Alora as much as he did for Freya who had gone with Marvin. Since she was in disguise, they left the capital.
However, Eugenie yearned to take a look at Alora. Since Alora was never away from Eugenie for so long, Zander didn't stop her.
