Alice's Hunch

"Ah, I-I...." Alice looked nervous at being caught by Sea.

"Alice, what exactly are you doing?" asked the Sea.

Alice looked down and she said, "I accidentally saw you throw something in there," Alice said, pointing to the trash can.

Sea snorted in annoyance and seemed to want to be angry, but the woman was able to neutralize her anger quickly.

"Alice, you know, if it's a trash can, it's only natural that I throw something in there?" said the Sea.

"Ah... haha... haha! That's right...." Alice laughed a little awkwardly.

"You're right, Sea, I'm the only one lacking work," Alice said a little shyly.

"Actually, what do you suspect about the item I threw away?" asked the Sea.

"I..." Alice scratched her temples, she hesitated again to answer.

"Just say it, Alice! Are you suspicious of me?" Sea seemed to keep hitting Alice with questions that provoked her to say something.

Sea grabbed Alice's shoulder who was starting to get nervous.

"Tell me whatever you want to know, and don't ever lie to me, we're neighbors, so don't let our relationship become more strained over a small matter," said Sea.

Finally, Alice was about to share her suspicions with Sea.

It was true what Sea said, after all, Sea was a good person in her eyes, and she should not suspect that it was Sea who had hidden the Mute Girl.

Alice said in detail, and she looked nervous, Alice was very afraid that Sea would be angry. Because she had bad thoughts on Sea. Maybe after this Sea will also think of Alice as crazy, because according to her it is not normal and talks beyond human reason so it seems like making it up.

But the unexpected thing happened, it turned out that Sea laughed at Alice.

"Haha! Alice! Alice! You're so cute, do you think I'm a murderer huh?"

Alice smiled sheepishly, but she was glad Sea wasn't mad at her.

"Alright, Alice! If you're curious about me, I'll tell you in detail what happened yesterday,"

Sea opened the trash can, then looked briefly at the clothes she threw away.

"I threw these clothes away because they were useless. So the mute woman was wearing clothes that weren't proper to wear, therefore, apart from feeding her, I also gave her new clothes," explained Sea.

"You came in at seven, right?" asked the Sea.

"It's only six in the morning, so you still have plenty of time, besides that the distance from your house to the office is only about 15 minutes, you won't be late, so come to my house and I will make something for you," said Sea.

Alice finally agreed.

Sea is a good person in her eyes, so how can she have bad thoughts about Sea.

"Where for you?"

"Oh, I can make it again later, I still have plenty of bread in stock," said Sea smiling kindly.

"Come on, just eat, other than that I'm happy to see you eat well, and that way you will get fat," said Sea jokingly.

"Ah, fine! Please make me 5 more buns!" Alice ordered jokingly.

After finishing the bread, Alice said goodbye to Sea.

"Sea, thank you very much, I'll go first okay?"

"Okay, be careful okay!" said Sea, waving her hand.

After leaving Sea's house, Alice took the time to look back at the trash can.

Incidentally, Sea forgot to close it.

The clothes in the trash seemed to have lots of holes like knife stabs, and there were lots of bloodstains.

'It seems that the Mute Woman, yesterday only had bruises on several parts of her body, and nothing was bleeding, so what blood is this?' Alice wondered again in her heart.

But Alice immediately denied her bad feeling.

"Ah, no, Alice, don't talk nonsense!" she said to herself, hitting, shaking her head lightly.

She had to think positively, after all, Sea's hand was injured, it could be that the blood came from the wound on Sea's hand.
