Fearghals

Daena saw less of an enemy and more of a good source to level up her skills, especially the Pyrae-related ones. Her entire body burned with divine fire as she shot forward all her intent on making sure this battle lasted long enough to get all her skills leveled as best as possible. Her enemy the flame incarnate had no issues with this as it too shot forward.

Boom.

Their fists smashed directly into the other pushing them back once more. This time Daena didn't let just let herself get thrown back. An arm snuck out sharply grasping the incarnation hand and with a twirl smashed it into the earth. Her lips parted as a roar of fire shot out her mouth and cascaded over the incarnate. So hot it was that the earth melted into molten lava. Her roar continued until an arm shot out striking her swiftly on the face and sending her flying back.

Daena barely freed herself from the broken pieces of the tree which caught her before a long fiery whip entwined her throat. With a widened eye she was tugged to the incarnate who herself shot forward to receive her.

BOOM

The explosion from their collision shattered the environment and burned the earth. None hesitated though as both delk out of the flames with kicks and punches. A first to Daena''s head had her vision spinning. Another fist to her abdomen sent all the smoke and air in her lungs out. Then a heel crashed on her head burying her face into the ground.

"Stay" the incarnate warmed.

Her warming was ignored as Daena's flame burned brighter. It rose like a pillar engulfing both women.

Daena might have had the advantage in element due to her fire being divine flames had the incarnate's body not been made of the very campfire she lit with her flames. Her flame pillar shrunk as the incarnate shrunk it forcibly. Soon Daema realized she could not burn the fire higher as the incarnate just suppressed it with her flame.

"Who are you?" The girl asked with a frown not liking the fact that the fight was over.

'It seems you throw blades and ask questions later' Daena gasped as the voice mocked in her head. Her eyes widened at this before she quickly calmed down.

"Appearing in a sleeping lady's room would gain you such a response." with a sigh she stood shaking her head to get her vibrating brain in sync.

"Now, who are you and what do you want?"

Anoma walked away watching the last of the false lives exit the forest and charge at the city in the clearing. He was sure the destroyer could handle things here. His eyes were locked in a specific direction, a suppression which did not affect him calling to him. To many, it would seem like Anoma was answering a challenge. But the King had no such thoughts. No, he was more interested in the strong creature who could project such an effect that he could feel from such a distance. As a king the suppression of beings below him could not even be noticed by him let alone manage to suppress him. But here was a creature whose suppression was powerful enough to be felt. It spoke a lot about the thing.

Wordlessly he stared at the destroyer to his side before continuing off. Words or not the creature understood the intent of the king as it too let out an unholy screech into the air.

Haero stood in the empty halls of the Aswimgnir Tower without a sound, his hand following the mural on the wall. Each depicted his mother's battles, the first with the Void wolf another with a fiercesome tall creature, yet another with the beings that once haunted this castle, another with the king who lived here, and the final one a depiction of her rending the soul realm from the maws of the Chaos entity.

Haero exhaled as he folded his fists. So many feats and achievements, most he knew were here and others he suspected were so meager they were not worthy of portrayal upon the walls. His eyes strayed to the stone with a second embedded within it and then to the entity hidden in plain sight. The knight stood unmoving its eyes forever locked on the sword. Haero shivered then looked away. This time placing his eyes on the other four scattered around the room.

Ozai stood impressively staring at the Holy flame armors his mother had forged to guard this hall. No one knew what he was thinking as he stared holes into them. At the doors leaned Freyr bored out of his mind as he flung his soul blades up and caught them in a circus trick. Finally were the two girls Umnduni and Oragon Freyja.

One kept staring at the other with an evident expression of worry while the source of her worry remained completely ignorant or just ignored the other while she spammed lightning like nothing. The introduction of runic intent had opened a whole new can of knowledge for the Umnduni. All around her floated words and spells created for the use of lightning and nothing else. A rune array that would have shocked Hilde was inscribed with divine blood all around. Symbols would have been impossible to believe as written with blood as all the symbols had turned a white tone with sparks and zaps crawling all over the array.

The doors suddenly burst open and in walked the very Unborn that had given the Higher gods instructions. First. His steps were like the pounds of a gavel. His grace like a fierce knight. Not like the children hand seen much of one. His eyes moved from one child to the other. Halting just a few feet from the throne he spun and surveyed them his hands held behind him like a butler. Tora's array vanished with a wave of the Unborn's hand making the Oragons frown with shock. Haero's eyes narrowed while Ozai simply took a glance and then focused back on the armors.

"You all have one desire and only one. No matter the cause, the reason, or the how. It all leads and needs one thing. Strength." First looked to Tora who had remained sitting but was now watching the strange Unborn who she was certain she had never met. She wasn't the only one. Of all the Unborns and creatures she had met, it was evident that this one was the strongest and weirdest.

"The Rifts are unexplored and untamed. Filled with dangers the mother could have culled or mitigated" he looked to the sword before he continued.

"Those threats were left unattended to. To have a brutal environment for you and the Higher gods to experience. Of course, the higher gods can't survive it alone. Even in groups it still would be impossible to survive. " he took a few steps close.

"This is where we come in" Ozai spoke up. "Suppress anything too dangerous in there and leave only threats the gods can handle, barely."

First nodded ignoring the fact that Ozai had barely given half his attention to him. He already knew about all the children and their quirks. From the honorable Haero to the intelligent Ozai, the battle maniac Tora to the fast Freyr and the warm-hearted Freyja.

"As Ozai said. You four shall head to the Rifts, learn and grow. You need no aid from the Unborn and as such shall get none. "

"Wait four" Freyja pointed out First's error. Ozai sighed almost tiredly.

"Can't you feel the heat? The only place we can't bear such heat on is Sol. We are either somewhere just like it, fairer or worst. A cakewalk for Haero."

"Which is why you are on a different mission or quest". A scroll was tossed to the Sun God. Unrolling it he stared at its page for a second, a second in which the temperature of the room doubled. Ozai made a glance at Haero, at the scroll, and then looked away.

"Since you all know your tasks, good luck. Some more than others. ." First's eyes drilled into Haero's. "...will need it".

In the Divine realm, a sight unnoticeable to normal eyes had been in progress for a long time. Long before the war of endings and before the Denners were forged. Most senses had been unable to pick up on the change in the land and the tremors below their feet.

The ambient energies formed by the realms, its inhabitants, and Sol that did not manage to escape to the mortal realms soaked into the ground. Slowly it formed a path through the rocks and divine earth.

In a large circular opening that could only be described as the center of the realm a large waterfall of energies poured down. It formed into a lake that bubbled with steam and shook reality with the mixture it made. It was a wonder that the energies hadn't caused some sort of negative reaction.

Yet none of it was the truly baffling thing about it all. The calm surface of the lake stirred, a tail of humongous proportions breaking the surface and sweeping through the air before splashing back into the lake. There was silence at first before various creatures suddenly emerged from the lake. Each one was different from the other. Each one exuded an ungodly strength and aura as they rushed out of the circular cavern.

A rumble shook the space, a sound that while loud and alarming sounded surprisingly like a breath. With its end, everything went still.
