Gin no kami stood still eye twitching as he took in the sight before him. It was a wonder if he was reacting to the jab at his name or the individual. Standing at 9ft, a berserk of a man stared down at both fellas. His upper body like Gin no kami was bare showing his muscles. While he looked like he was forged from steel his red mane, yes lion's mane billowed in an inexistent wind. The male possessed a lion's head, his entire eyes, pools of scarlet with a tiny glint of gold at the center.

Bronze skin flexed with power as the male held two hammers resting on his shoulders. Black pants adorned his lower figure, powerful feet carrying him closer to the duo.

"Why not a normal name like..."

"Like..." the lion looked to the sky for a moment before shrugging. "Just pick normal names lad".

Erebus and Gin no kami shared a single glance before looking back to the lion.

"So, what's going on? Saw the notification and suddenly I'm here."The lion drawled tongue licking his lip and exposing thick fangs.

Gin no kami remained silent staring at the male with a dead eye. Erebus turned aiming to walk off.

Then a howl pierced the air. All three and every other figure that had appeared on the plains turned to look. The howl was not animalistic but was rather the sound of air and wind getting compressed and moving at high speeds.

"What is that?"

The lion pointed with his right hammer into the sky. For the first time, Erebus noticed something that quite frankly should not have been missed. A huge pillar of red that towered up and vanished into the nonexistent sky.

"Saw something about a blood pillar in the event description. Think that's it?" a voice to their left asked.

"Better question. Is my eyesight wrong or is the blood pillar glitching?" Someone else replied to the first voice. Erebus looked carefully and sure enough the pillar was glitching. Then just as quickly as he noticed it the pillar vanished. Like a beam of light with the source cut off. Erebus blinked as he tried to make sense of what he was seeing. Fortunately, the system was helpful.

[REALMWIDE EVENT ACTIVATED]

[The Heart of ??????] - [I]

The Heart of ?????? has been freed. The Advent has begun. Stop the shattering or the chains will be obsolete. The Morsel will be dropped or the whole will be consumed. With great power comes corruption and consequences.

The Sons of the ?????? have been summoned. Stop Them

Requirements - [Stall the Sons from Reaching?????]

[The Will - The chains have been held for eternity. A full bite keeps strength. A morsel damns you all]

Erebus, Gin no Kami and the Lion took a step back as a pulse spread from the base of the vanished pillar. Wind gathered and grew chaotic.

"Just so you know." Erebus and Gin no Kami turned to the Lion who took a step against the wind. "The name is Gaglau, Pride Creator of Haresha." his eye locked on Gin no Kami as his arms heaved his hammers off his shoulders.

"That my friend is how you name yourself". Both Erebus and Gin no Kami cocked their heads stupefied at the giant.

Then a cry, screech or whatever noise it was filled the air. It grew from a lone mournful sound to a loud din. A cacophony stirred one that roused confusion in the creators, their heads turned in all directions as they sought the sounds.

Cain held the orb in his hands, the greed in his eyes over spilling as he brought the orb to his lips. Grabbing the orb from the pool had unsurprisingly shut off the light show which formed the pillar of blood. Leaving the pool of blood floating aimlessly in the air.

"Like the ambrosia of those Greeks from old world tales. To make a mortal god." Cain took a bite his eyes widening as energy and warmth exploded within him. So much, too much, it rushed in. Gusts of wind and power exploding around him. He took another bite, the energy swelled within him, his eyes burned. Another bite and his chest beat harder. Another bite and his stomach churned, hot liquid flowing within him. Another bite sent a scream out his mouth.

The Echo of his scream escaped as waves of sound blasted through the plains. Cain squirmed. His body folded into a fetal position as an explosion of pain and fullness filled his brain. Pain was something he had already gotten used to feeling which made this very point the most confusing time of his entire game experience.

Red lights continuously flashed in his mind, his body unknown to him was already floating up and away from the ground. The orb in his hand which he had yet to realize was bigger than it looked trembled as he subconsciously took yet another bite.

Then his body shook, the orb dropping from his hand. Cain didn't know this, lost in the flash of color in his own head all he felt was the sudden emptiness in his hand.

The blood pool above him lurched down with a nasty slurp, devouring the orb up. The orb within it disintegrated into nothing, if possible the blood became even a darker shade of red than before. Than a new notification appeared to Cain. This one though was unlike anything he'd received.

[You have failed]

In bright golden red letters that carried terror with them. Mentally Cain froze, he didn't understand what he failed at, he did consume the orb, he did everything, so how?. The thought brought a roar from the creator but like a turbulent child being chastised the blood pool lashed out.

Grasping him face first it pulled him into it's hold. The moment he was submerged into the pool a new notification appeared for him.

[The Heart of ?????? has found a willing host]

[The Heart of ????? will now commence takeover]

The next notification sounded out for Cain to hear, the voice mocking and almost resigned.

[Your Ascension commences]

[The Sons are heeding their Father's call]

.

Gaglau inhaled deeply his molten eyes shutting for a split second before opening. The Creators had proven stubborn, unwilling to listen to any directives or form a team for what was coming. So he had left them to their devices.

Glancing to his left and right he mentally sighed. Atleast the weird named one and the other who looked like he could disappear in any moment stuck close. The screeches and wails were getting louder and louder. It was time to act.

Gaglau crouched, the claws of his feet digging into the ground, his arms remaining in their position with the hammers rested on his shoulders. Molten eyes locked into the distance as the first of the noisemakers appeared.

"This would have been quicker with the Pride". he mumbled. Erebus and Gin no Kami spared a glance at him before looking back to what approached.

Their eyesight were good, their hearing impeccable, some more than the others. Which was why they could clearly see all the incoming creatures.

" Destroyers" Erebus spoke his voice a whisper. Gin no Kami sighed and Gaglau's eyes narrowed. His legs flexed even more and his palms bit into the handles of his axe. A low snarl ripped from his maws and his muscles tensed sending a pulse through the air.

"Here we go" Erebus raised an arm system lights appearing and weaving a tale of blades and swords. By the time the tip was formed Gin no Kami had formed several balls of compressed wind the size of marbles around his hand.

Erebus swung the Nodachi once before resting it on his shoulder.

"Sorry to distract all" a voice boomed into the air. All eyes went to the sky where a goddess flew. Wings flapped around her, countless wings, all attached to her at different angles.

"That's a nasty lot of wings". Gin no Kami muttered.

" I heard you" the goddess glared down at him getting a shrug in return.

"So, we got the Sons coming. " the goddess waved her hand at the running destroyers drawing closer.

"Yep. And you're a distraction" a voice shouted clearly not liking her antics. The goddess chuckled while waving her hands apologetically.

"Just saying. Why are we following the event to a tee? Waiting for those things to come and them stalling them. I mean if we're meant to stop something shouldn't we, I don't know. " She mimed tying a rope around something, then pulled the illusionary rope with both hands to either sides.

"Just like them" she finished by pointing down in the direction of the snuffed out pillar. Everyone looked and gasps rang out at the sight of two figures headed into the smoke and mist gathered at the center. One a tall knight in black armor and the other in tattered cloak following behind.

"Just saying" the goddess got back their attention before turning."I'm gonna join them". With that she descended like a bullet speeding for the duo ahead.
