From the darkness emerged a rather humanoid figure.
It would have resembled a girl or a young woman if not for the hooves on her feet and bird like claws instead of hands, accompanied by her red skin, curved horns, a reptilian tail, and twisted, bat like wings. Though the latter were barely large enough to fly if they had not belonged to a demon.
The succubus looked rather confused, given that she was roughly the same age as Sirin it wasn't odd to assume that she had never been summoned by another demon.
Sirin leaned against one of the walls of the building that protected the altar, his tail swinging from left to right.
"What is your name?" Sirin asked the succubus.
However, she was more focused on figuring out where she was than answering the question.
She wondered if she had somehow reached a higher or lower level of hell, given that she saw the small temple like structure and the dry cracked ground with which she was all too familiar. Not to mention the strange, pale demon in front of her.
Yet despite this, the sky that she could see from here position and the cold, soft air gave away that this was one of the mortal worlds.
"Give me your name!" Sirin demanded, this time a bit louder.
The succubus jumped up but quickly fixed her statue to glare at the other demon.
Sirin sighed. "Don't worry, I'm not planning to use it as a spell to control you, nor am I asking for your complete name. I just feel like it would just put us on a more equal level than if I were to just refer to you with your status or species. If it helps, you can call me Sirin."
"Fyseryra." The young succubus spoke.
Sirin grinned which send a shiver down the succubus spine as the pale demon's eyes seemed to glow a little brighter, even if it was just for a moment.
"See, now we are getting somewhere. Fyseryra, I have an offer for you." Sirin spoke while not letting her escape his gaze. "There are certain things I want to get, certain questions that I want answers to. But I need more power, more territory, more people to achieve that. I want you, along with many others by my side. Do you understand?"
Sirin paused even though he knew that she wouldn't answer. "Now, Fyseryra. I do not expect you to do that without rewards, a deal should benefit both parties. I can grant you artefacts, power, and a hunting ground filled with both dead and living humans. What do you say?"
The succubus narrowed her bright green eyes. "How do I know you won't kill me as soon as the job is done?"
Sirin shrugged. "You don't. Well, I suppose that if you make yourself useful enough, it would be a loss for me to kill you. So that matter will be in your hands."
"Then what is it that you want me to do?" Fyseryra asked as she placed her hoofed foot so close to the edge of the summoning circle that the formation shone in a bright green light.
"For now, I just need you to guard the fortress. Once I gather more forces, I will need you to conquer and guard more land. There are some fairly strong mortals in this world that want to capture me. expanding my territory and hunting grounds without the help of others is useless since they will just take it back the moment I turn around."
The succubus bit her lip. "Fine, I will serve under you, and you will give me the before mentioned rewards. So, I assume we have a deal."
Sirin took her hand to agree with the deal and then pulled her out of the summoning circle.
He guided her through the fortress and the surrounding area, and she in turn was amazed to find that the entire fortress leaked the same magic as the demon himself. Making it obvious that he singlehandedly had created this massive structure. This gave her some reassurance that she had made the right decision by agreeing with his offer.
Sirin couldn't help but notice her change in expression and softly smiled.
Eventually they reached the original cave were Thilsor and Emilia were sleeping, with Amanda watching over them. Hendrik was still getting his 'master'.
"Now that you have seen everything, I will explain the rules of this place starting with the most important one. You will find four humans here, with a potential fifth one that a friend of mine is picking up now. Touch them and you die. Even if you manage to run, you will find that all the worlds combined are not large enough to hide from me. "
She nodded and stared at the pieces of wood that were still attached to the skin of Amanda.
But Amanda just smiled and then turned to Sirin. "I'm glad that you found another demon that you didn't feel the need to bite the throat out of, and it's a girl non the less."
There was a certain mischievous undertone in her words. Sirin sighed and looked away, though it was mainly because he felt how he was starting to blush.
"As for you," Amanda now looked at the succubus. "I have seen your kind in hell. Don't try anything with him or you're going to wish that I was never set free."
