Prologue

"And the Miss World 2002 award goes to, Shreya Sharma!"

"Yay- ah! Ugh!"

I rubbed my back in pain as I fell down from my bed. What a dream I had.

Sigh. You want introductions? Here it is.

I am Shreya Sharma, a girl who has been reliving her life after dying to a truck.

I was a 38 year old woman, married to a rich douche who only married me because of how beautiful I am. Well, I also married him only because he was rich. So, I guess I was a douche too.

We weren't happy though, and separated, thankfully long before we planned for a kid. So no pregnant woman drama.

Aside from that, I was an electronics engineer, a rare breed in the engineering college. With the Boys to Girls ratio of 60:7 in the class. And I was the most beautiful amongst them. Even qualified for the final round of Miss India before my parents got to know about it, and I had to withdraw.

The job I had wasn't really bad. It paid me good enough to be able to buy a 1BHK flat in 10 years in Pune. And it gave me enough time for my hobbies, including trying to go on Sa Re Ga Ma, though I was eliminated at 7th position.

My voice and Ajit Singh's songs could only bring me so far, for someone who hasn't received any music training from childhood.

Life wasn't bad. I was happy. I got free time for anime and mangas as well, which I only got to know about during Covid.

Though, it seems Truck-kun got to know about me as I got to know about him. He must have wanted to meetup, and got too excited that he tried to hug me. But I was fragile, and died.

But I woke up again as a baby! And thankfully not in a medival world, either Shounen or Shoujo.

I got reincarnated as me. A baby born on 16th January 1984.

I don't know if I am in a clichéd loop, but it is still just my second life. So I can't really be sure.

With this life being my second, and having experienced the future, I decided to go full-on for my dreams. To be rich. Insanely rich.

Though, it isn't really as easy as novels and fanfics make it out to be. You can't just buy stocks, and expect to become rich.

How will a kid buy stocks? Especially if the parents are like... Let's not really talk about that. And how would a kid explain which stocks to buy? A kid of a middle class family doesn't know that.

The next thing that came to my mind was, music competitions. My parents in previous life opposed when I went to a music reality show as a working adult. But since I was a kid, and sang very well compared to kids my age, they allowed me to participate, and Mummy went with me to Mumbai.

I won 3rd place as a 6 year old when my competitors were kids upto 15 years old.

Not that I am really proud of it. I was an adult, with the advantage of cuteness of a six year old kid.

Thankfully, my parents may be bad, but not bad enough to see me as a source of money. What I earned remained in my bank account. I also became a child actress because of my popularity, and appeared in some 4-5 movies before my parents decided to be assholes that I always knew.

"Become a doctor, engineer, or IAS officer. Study. These things are useless."

Sigh...

That's why I skipped grades, graduated from High School at the age of 9, completed my B.Tech by the age of 13, though nobody employed a 14 year old kid.

So for the past four years, I have been doing what I want. I won Sa Re Ga Ma two years ago, while releasing two of my 'original' songs 'Tum Hi Ho', 'Tu jo Mila'

So, I got some pretty good connections in Bollywood, and got blacklisted by the companies that tried to 'offer' me to give them the rights of the blockbuster, and sign with them.

L-series and all can go and take a L. I won't surrender in front of the vultures.

I don't really want to be a Bollywood actress. I am not comfortable with romance, let alone with 50 year old 'young' actors.

Salim Khan offered me a film, and when I told him that I have no interest in acting, he offered me a song in his movie.

Thankfully I know that he is the last person in the industry to get involved with.

Even without him, and even signing any record label, I sang in Karan Johar's

I invested most of my money in Appel, Macrohard, Alphabeta, Vindia to become super rich in the future, and have been living in an apartment in Bengaluru, where I bought a building in Whitefield, where IT park will be established.

I also worked out everyday in this life, took care of my extreme beauty properly, learnt how to sing, dance, draw, some corporate laws, and some programming.

I am trying to make Friendbook and WeTube. Headbook is almost complete.

And, I am drawing an Indian version of Naruto for the past 5 years, publishing it on my blog. Honestly, instead of being bound to a contract, it is better to start my own company, which I couldn't do until I was 18. Making it in the name of either of my parents will lead to them getting scammed. The building I bought with my money is already in my mother's name.

I don't really trust my parents to simply hand over the things I bought in their name. They are already salty that I live in a different apartment from them in the building I bought. And not looking for job in engineering or trying to become IAS officer.

When I transfer all the money and assets I have in my mother's name to me, and contest Miss World, I am going to live alone, not even in the same building as them.

But till then, I have to pretend to be the perfect daughter that they brag about to everyone.

I am fairly well known in the Bollywood industry. Even without record labels, I have gotten some songs from Kaman Jihar's movies, and after winning Sa Re Ga Ma two years ago, my concerts of the songs that I 'compose' earn me good money.

Now that I am 18, I plan to participate in Miss India, and qualify for Miss World. While winning the world title is not really possible, since it will be the third Miss World going to India in a decade after Ishwarya and Pyaranka, what I want is advertisement.

I am fairly confident that no one is more qualified than me to win Miss India. They only way I will not win is money, or politics.

Well... I shouldn't be too overconfident. Participating in these competitions is just a thing that I am doing to establish an entirely new entertainment industry.

I will control the WeTube and Friendbook, TV, music, movie, Indian anime, manga, and most importantly, create a whole I-pop industry under me.

I am going to milk out my future knowledge to the best I can.
