"First battle of the Semi-Finals!" Midnight called out. Mokami got up from the bench where his friends were sitting and jumped on the stage. Todoroki was in the waiting room so his arrival was a tad later. His eyes were determined, and his left hand was twitching.

"I will use my everything." He challenged.

"Your everything?" Mokami smirked. Todoroki was baffled for a second, then chuckled.

"It is my power. Both are." He nodded.

"Good, let's go," Mokami called out and two weapons appeared in his hands. Todoroki raised his right hand, and ice started to spear toward Mokami. The gun on his left hand fired, and a capsule collided with approaching ice. As it did so, the capsule exploded and all the ice vanished to thin air as if it wasn't there to begin with. The audience and Todoroki looked at the scene with their mouths agape, utterly dumbfounded. The giant ice mountain vanished as quickly as it appeared. No, even faster!

"What is that?" Todoroki looked at the fast-melting ice in dread.

"An acid that when mixed with ice creates a reaction that lowers the freezing point of your ice thus turning it into liquid. Of course, that process is normally slow, but the acid I used hastens the process hundreds of times." Mokami explained with a smile. "If the freezing point is lower, the ice cannot stay in its solid form in this hot weather."

"Impressive." Todoroki praised honestly. Then raised his left hand. A beam of fire sprayed from it. Mokami raised his right hand this time and fired. Another capsule met with the approaching fire, and in the next second, the fire was no more.

"Without oxygen, there cannot be fire. I used a chemical formula that would suck the oxygen in the air, thus extinguishing all the fire in certain spaces. Something like a fire extinguisher ball the firefighters use, but a bit more advanced." Mokami explained without waiting for the half-half boy to ask.

"That is amazing." Todoroki muttered to himself. He saw how Momo robbed Bakugou's Quirk and now Mokami was doing the same. How could anyone compare with them when they were prepared. He knew it was mostly because they knew the quirks of everyone in the class, but it was still impressive. He wasn't sure if his father, Number 2 Hero Endeavor could fight in his place. After all, Mokami robbed his ability to generate fire, the same would go for his father as well and after that, Mokami could do anything.

"I see what you and Yaoyorozu-san are trying to do." Todoroki said with a subtle smile. "From the beginning, with your battle against Izuku... No even before that, with your speech, you tried to show that what matters is not Quirk, it is the person using it. You are stopping us from using our powers, so we can see there are enemies out there that can do the same.

You are working this hard to show us we are not invincible just because we have strong Quirks. I now understand what you said in your speech. In my current state, I am worse than people with Quirks that do not damage. They at least know hand to hand combat or one or two martial arts, whereas I, despite having worked out for years, am inferior to them without my Quirk."

"I am glad you can see our reasoning." Mokami smiled. Todoroki was smart. Both he and Momo, despite not planning, had the same idea. They wanted their classmates to be stronger. Although Momo got the idea after Mokami beat the shit out of Izuku, she too wanted to show that at any second, they could be trapped and their powers could be taken away from them. In such situations, they had to have a way to fight back.

"I have one more move and if it doesn't work, I will give up." He said while looking at his two hands, "But I warn you. It is extremely destructive. Although I am sure you can counter it, I still don't want to accidentally hurt you."

"Show them what you are capable of." Mokami nodded with a smile. 'Here comes Flashfreeze Heatwave.'

One of Todoroki's signature moves was the "Flashfreeze Heatwave", which combined his fire and ice abilities to create a devastating attack. To perform this move, Todoroki first needed to create a large amount of ice around his target. He did that by using his left side, which controlled ice. Todoroki was very skilled with this ability, and he could create massive structures of ice in a matter of seconds.

Once he has created a sufficient amount of ice, Todoroki then would use his right side, which controlled fire, to heat up the ice. This would cause the ice to rapidly melt, creating a massive cloud of steam. The steam would be so hot that it coud burn the opponent, and so thick that it could obscure the opponent's vision.

Todoroki could then use this steam as cover to launch an attack. He could strike his opponent with a powerful blast of fire or ice, or he could use the steam to confuse and disorient them. The Flashfreeze Heatwave was a very versatile move, and Todoroki could use it in many different ways to suit his needs. He only needed experience.

And as Mokami expected, Todoroki started to cool the air around him with his ice powers. Then, by switching to his fire, he rapidly heated and expanded the air around him. A super-heated blast moved towards Mokami who was waiting with his arms wide open.

The explosion was so big that it could destroy the stage and him if he didn't do anything, but luckily he thought of this possibility and knew it was coming. When the super-heated fire was upon him, Mokami raised a metal ball that exploded in his hand. As it did so, it covered his body in a dome.

When the fire passed through the metal, it did nothing. The dome was stuck to the ground and the metal stood strong.

Todoroki looked at the metal dome while huffing and puffing. "Nothing I do will work, will it?"

"Sorry, probably not," Mokami said, walking out of his turtle shell.

"You win." Todoroki nodded and walked down the stage. This was the power of science. Since he could create anything and everything, he could counter everything and anything. That was annoying but that was how it was.
