Chapter 1. In the beginning

"Wake up Tom, you don't need to be late again! If you are I'll beat you like when I caught you coming in after curfew!" A dark hared lady about 5 foot tall screamed.

"I'm in the bathroom mom not my room, I've been up for a while, and I was only 15 minuets late on curfew and I even told you why, Jack's car got a flat tire remember?" Tom shot back after spitting out the toothpaste.

Tom being a 6 foot tall, thin man at only 18, his long dark hair tied back into a bun showing off his very narrow features and deep green and brown eyes, those eyes of longing and missing as if something was bothering him.

"I just have to grab some of my things out of my room before I head off to school." Tom said as he walked out of the bathroom and headed towards his mother still at his room door.

"Tom please leave June's neckless I know you have it on again, it's a relic of a time when our family meant something and your useless father was still alive!" Kendra yelled at Tom raising her hand to strike her son, and BAM the hand connected on Tom's face almost slamming his head into the wall of the hallway.

Tom straitened himself out taking the small silver neckless from under the collar of his shirt, "She was my sister and I wear this to carry on her memory, unlike you you bitch all you do is throw away people you don't see as useful, hell even my own father killed himself after being with you for 5 years! Why do you think I hate being here you piece of garbage?"

Without even grabbing his school bag Tom just slammed the door to the house as he left the house before his 'mother' had the time to catch him and hit him more.

"TOM CAT!!!!" Lilian yelled out as she saw the man she had such a crush on for years, even though she was much shorter then tom she jumped onto his back and started to kiss his cheek, "I heard you and your mom already this morning and knowing how much you love me I know giving you a kiss will help now come and give me a ki-"

"Get off me Lil I'm not in the mood for your stupid games, just go ahead to school. I... I won't be coming today." Tom said as he rolled his shoulders so the small figure would drop off his back to no avail. After about five minutes of standing at the crossroad of their street with her on his back like that he just got fed up and said "Do you really not want to leave me alone, I just want to go to the cemetery to put some flowers on dad's and June's graves. Today is their birthday's Lil, I remember dad was over the moon when he realized sis was born on his birthday, well after he woke up from mom breaking his hand so bad it made him pass out from pain."

"Tom let's go together, you shouldn't be on your own not to mention why would you want to be alone when you have me." Lilian said as she jumped off his back, her short red hair with the sides cut almost all the way down to the skin dancing in the slight wind. After gabbing his hand and pulling him through the crosswalk without looking and nearly getting hit by a box truck blasting through the intersection without a care in the world.

"Lil you are a dumbass, you know that right?" Tom said as he pulled her arm to pull her out of the way of the truck. Come on before you get us killed, and with that they started the half hour walk to the cemetery passing by a few stores he saw a white haired girl with almost grey eyes.

"Hey grand, do you have the tiger lilies in stock still?" Tom asked the lady as she was bent down in a flower pot pulling out the weeds that started to grow.

"Yes I know what day it is Tom, they're in the shop on the counter if you want to go ahead and grab them and if you bring me my tea off the counter you can take them for free." Grand laughed as she pulled her hands out and dusted them off on her overalls. When she had said grab something he had already stepped through the opened door and stared walking to the counter and grabbing the flowers and the cold glass, and walking back to give it to her and continued on the walk.

After about fifteen minuets the pair arrived at the cemetery, at his sister and father's graves he saw a note stuck to the headstone, which made him wonder who would disrespect something sacred as the resting place of the dead. Grabbing the note he read "Tomas Dess, after reading this you will be sent to another world, good luck." and with the last word to Lilian a blue portal opened up under Tom and had taken him.

Waking up in a pitch black void a screen appeared, "Pick your cultivation system" and with that hundreds of system names flew by vampire, dragon, duel, and so many more but the one that caught his eye was one that just said galaxy system and with that a simple tap on the name a small screen popped up saying "Are you sure Y/N" clicking yes the world lit up as if the stars that were hidden in the void had clashed together and created another big bang.

'Finally light being in that darkness was getting annoying, wait why is there hands holding me?'

*sigh* "Little one he is safe but there is something I am worried about, look at his eyes."

With that Tom could see that he had just been born into another world, looking down at his hands he saw the small ball of a babies hand instead of the pale body he was used to he was a fair bit more tan. His mother had taken him from the older lady who helped deliver him and looked down to her baby to see his eyes looking back at her swirling with every color almost like a nebula but always changing.

*panting* "Mimi is he ok, why isn't he crying, can he see?" the young lady said even after going through childbirth her first thought wasn't the pain but loving and caring for her baby. With that a snap rand out from the old lady's hand grabbing the attention of the new born.

"Yes Maple he seems to be able to see, when I snapped his eyes went to the sound and for the crying he is breathing so that is odd but not unheard of also what do you want to name the rainbow eyed kid?" Mimi asked as she took the child to a basin nest to the bed to clean the baby but instead of washing him like normal she waved her hand and the water flowed into the air in an almost snake like motion the young baby was cleaned as the words left his mothers mouth,

"Sol." was the word that left her mouth.
