Oh Is That Why?

"Vivi, did you ever pay for that mirror you broke at your cousin Mike's house?", Mom brought that up so randomly.

"Omg, I totally forgot about that!", I really did.

"Well, that might be why you've been having such bad luck for the past 2 days.", She said very specifically.

"Oh is that why?", I said under my breath.

I hurriedly finished my breakfast and ran upstairs to change. I wore my favorite white PEACE T-shirt and denim black shorts.

"I'm going to Koa's!" I said while running out the door.

"Stay safe!", Dad said.

I walked to Koko's house still really mad. It would take me about 5-6 minutes if I wasn't lazy but today I was so it took me about 15 minutes to get there.

I barged in, ran to Koko's room, jumped on her bed started yelling into her pillow.

"Girl, why are you so surprised? I told you he was a player! He dated almost all the girls in the 9th grade, AT ONCE.", Koko said, unphased by me yelling into her pillow.

"I know and I thought he really loved me!", I said, still mad about it.

"He doesn't really love anyone. Plus, rumors spread about him dating Kenni McCallister", Koko said.

"He treated me like fricking garbage and was always looking on Tinder. Eugh.", I felt really disgusted because all the girls he looked at swiped were actually really pretty.

Koko smiled and said, "Now that you've realized he's a cheater, let's watch MSA together."
