I'll make you pay(chapter 14)
That night Jennie couldn't sleep,she was scared of everything,the dangers and risks she was going to take for the sake of her family.What will became of her she didn't know,she didn't know what to do,she didn't know what was right or wrong,she had know that she wasn't in control of her life.She knew the price she had to pay if she disobeyed her father and also the price for what she was about to do.She kept on wondering if her life would have been better if she was from an ordinary family or it would have remained the same.What she didn't know was that her misery was far from over the worse was coming,she will be betrayed and abandoned by her loved ones,she will be humiliated Infront of the whole world.
The next morning Jennie was startled by her father's shouting,she didn't have time to change before her brother come to call her it seemed to be serious it was still early.She wondered what could have made her father so angry,her mother stood next to him,she seemed disturbed,before she could say anything her father slapped her so hard that she saw stars,Jennie was shocked,she could understand what else she had done to her father."WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!!" he asked angrily,"what are you talking about?" Jennie asked with tears in her eyes."how could you post on the internet that you're pregnant and were forcing you to terminate it?" he was about to explode due to anger.Jennie didn't understand what her father meant,she looked at him confused,"father I didn't post anything" she said." Then who else knew your were pregnant did you tell anyone?" Jennie shook her head,"so you can lie,apart from us no one else knew,so who could post that nonsense apart from you?" he looked at her daughter with hateful eyes."I don't know dad" she replied,Jennie saw her brother smiling and knew he must have been the one who posted it "dad you and mom can't post it and I wouldn't either maybe Jacob did post it to humiliate me" Jacob stopped smiling and looked at her sister with ridicule " why would I post that, it will turnish our family's name,I wouldn't want people saying my sister got pregnant out of wedlock,I would never do that to you, you're my one and only sister" Jacob replied, Jennie didn't buy his reasons,she had to prove she didn't do it no matter what,but the problem was that her father might not believe her.
"Jennie I never expected this from you, because of your carelessness you got pregnant,you knew this would affect our company,I offered a solution so all of us won't be affected, but what did you think you will get from this,I thought our relationship was getting better,why did you decide to humiliate us?,are you getting back at me?" he asked."Dad believe me,Jacob is the one who posted it,I'll never do that","why would he do that,he is your brother"."He hates me,he is always trying to humiliate me,he wants to be the only heir of your company and inherit all your property" Jennie explained,she hoped her father would believe her."What should we do by now most of the people know she is pregnant" asked Jennie's mother."What can we do,I have already paid someone to take down the post,but soon there will be article about her,can't you see how irresponsible she is,she is even trying to accuse her brother,I never knew you will turn out like this" he said disappointed.
Jennie felt suffocated,like always her father didn't believe her,it has always been like this,she is wrong all the time and her brother was right,he never does anything wrong.She always come second,she felt like laughing at her miserable self."Since you want to keep your child,you don't even know the father, I won't let you take us down with you,the company will be affected because of your foolishness,how will we even show our faces in public?,since you didn't consider what will happen if people knew this,you didn't consider your family before drugging us through the mud,you have proven you don't deserve to be my daughter,you have till the evening find yourself a new home where you can raise that bastard in your womb I want nothing to do with you,and also never let me see you again it's better if you leave the country,you studied in a better school so you can get a good job I've tried my best but you don't deserve to be here" with that he turned around and left,he didn't feel sorry for what he had done,she was adult so she should be able to take care of herself.
Everyone was shocked by his decision,Mrs Louis followed his husband in worry,she wanted to try and talk to her husband not to send her daughter away.Jennie stood there in shock,she could have never imagined her father will kick her out of the house,she was his only daughter but she choose his reputation and not her,the heartache she felt was was so extreme that she became numb.Any parent was willing to do anything for their children but her own father was ready to sacrifice her for the sake of his reputation and company.Jennie laughed bitterly as tears flowed down her cheeks,her father didn't believe her and know he had abandoned her,her family didn't want her anymore,her brother betrayed her in a way she had never been betrayed,they had dug out her heart and crushed it.Families are supposed to protect us,guide us,give us love and warmth but she had neve received any of those.Jacob kept on staring at her,he felt happy and acomplished ,now Jennie will never be a threat to him.He looked at her mockingly and said "I feel so sorry for you,I can lend you some money if you want,also here is my advice as your brother don't terminate your pregnancy I'm sure there is a fool who is willing to marry you" he left smiling," Jacob"she called,he turned around and looked at her,he raised his eyebrows.
"You did this so you can inherit all father's assets right?" she asked,he smiled "yeah I have won,I have known now not only will you not inherit anything you got kicked out of the house" he said proudly,Jennie looked at him and laughed like a maniac,he was suprised by her behaviour," brother I neve wanted any of it,but you saw me as your enemy,all I ever wanted was you to love me like your younger sister,you have always hurt me but this time you have gone overboard,this is the last time I call you brother,this is the last time you hurt me but I promise you,we will meet again and when we do I'll make you pay for everything you have done to me,I'll take everything that is precious to you,mark my words" she said,Jacob laughed at her "what can you do,you have nothing or anyone" he said mocking her,she smiled and replied "I'll take everything from you" Jennie wiped her tears and went to her room,Jacob stared at her and sneered he wasn't scared of her or took her words seriously.Jennie got into her room and checked her phone there was post "Jennifer Louis, daughter of Mr Louis CEO of Louis construction rumoured to be pregnant and her family wants her to terminate the pregnancy to keep their good reputation" she read emotionless there were alot of comments,alot of them were critizing her and her family,she read them one by one and her thirst for revenge increased,she s swore to make all those who hurt her pay,she was going to give them the hell she had been leaving.She had to get powerful,so powerful that even their families couldn't help them,she was going to make her family regret abandoning her, anyone who hurt her was going to pay,she will make them so miserable that they wish they never hurt her.She sat on her bed deep in thoughts.
