293 Don't look for her

Diana froze. 

You must be hearing things. 

You are missing him too much. 

You want him here. 

You see what you think of, Diana.

Be logical. Why would he be here? He has a busy schedule. 

Be sane. 

Think. 

Despite every bit of rationality screaming in her head, Diana just could not help but go with that small irrational part that believed that it was not a hallucination. 

And as she raised her head, she was greeted with that familiar face. That ever-so-gorgeous face that had her spellbound every damned time.

Those eyes looked at her with a mix of concern and reproach. Those damned cold eyes that looked at her so softly that her heart melted. 

Maxim was here. 

And before she knew it, she was up on her feet.
