Enough

The four of them were eating in silence which immediately breaks when Leona asked Cassandra about the new set of schedules that their manager offered. The two were talking closely and casually flirting with each other making the other girl who's with them throw some death glances. Kir couldn't help but clench her knuckles tightly. She didn't know what to do or what her girlfriend is trying to do.

"Why don't you just tell Leona about the two of you. Not just throw some death glances to them, that doesn't even help in my opinion" Marcelo said enough for the girl to hear

"Just shut up," Kir said, clenching her jaw

Kir finally lost her patience when her girlfriend and her friend accidentally bump their heads with each other resulting in them almost sharing a kiss.

"What the hell, Leona!" Kir hissed, throwing some intense glance at her friend

"What? What did I do?" Leona, who's oblivious to her friend's behavior asked

"I can't believe you're doing this just because of some stupid reason" Kir uttered looking straight at her girlfriend

Cassandra didn't even bother to look at her girlfriend. She knew why she is upset but it also made her mad how her girlfriend could simply say that it's for some stupid reason. All she ever wanted is to be recognized as her girlfriend, even if it's just in front of her girlfriend's friends. She wondered if it's too much to ask, then she realized that it's not. Cassandra knew she's not at fault for the situation they are in. The kiss didn't even happen and the bumping of the head was accidental. She had too much of her girlfriend's behavior and so she packed her things and walk out of the fast-food chain where they decided to eat. But before she turned around, she looks at Kir one last time. Her eyes show pain and the next words she uttered was already too late to change

"We're done"

"What the hell Kir. What's your problem!? Look what you just did!" Leona said, disappointed with her friend's behavior

But Kir couldn't even hear what Leona was talking. The word "we're done" keeps replaying in her mind like a recorder. And only then she realized how badly she caused pain to the girl she loves the most that she ended up losing her. Because of her insensitivity and cowardness, Cassandra broke up with her.

"That is why I told you to just say it" Marcelo chimed, looking sad at what he witnessed but also disappointed in her friend's behavior

"Say what!?" Leona asked, impatient to know what was going on

"That she's my girlfriend Leona!" Kir said, throwing daggers at her friend

"You shouldn't have flirted with her! Look what you just did to my relationship" she added

"Woah calm down! Why are you blaming me for something that didn't even happen! First of all, I didn't flirt with your girlfriend, and second of all, you didn't fucking tell me that she was your girlfriend! You know how clingy I am to someone I'm comfortable with, aren't I like that to you!? If only you told me she was your girlfriend, I could have toned it down a bit!"

Leona was so disappointed to hear such words from her friend. How could she blame her for something she didn't even do and was oblivious of everything. No one told her anything in the very first place

"You should have figured it out by yourselves. Marcelo was able to read the mood but how could you not!?"

"Guys can you please stop. We're at a fast-food chain. Everyone is looking at the both of you" Marcelo said, stopping both of her friends from creating another ruckus

"Fuck you Kir!" Leona whispered but enough for Kir to hear

"What did you just say?"

"I said fuck you! How could you just compare me to Marcelo!? Fine! I wasn't able to read the mood but guess what idiot! Not everything you want your friends to know could be done by simply praying that they read the mood. Sometimes you have to be brave and tell them what you want them to know! Because a friend like me is not a fucking magician or some super reader who could guess your relationship status Kir"

"And you think it's that easy!?"

"The only reason why you think it's not easy is that you're thinking that I would look at you differently once you tell me. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure that's the reason right? You think I'm some homophobic person who would abandon a friend once they tell me about their real sexuality"

Kir couldn't answer her friend anymore because it's true. She indeed thinks of her friend that way. To be precise, she thinks of all the people that way.

"I'm so disappointed in you Kir," Leona said, wiping the tears that start to flow.

She packed her bag and decided to leave the place. Kir was left with no words to say. That was the first time she ever saw her friend cry because of her. Marcelo stand up from his seat and look at the girl beside her, dumbfounded at everything that just happened

"Let me take you home," he said

Kir just nodded and follow Marcelo who lead the way. After a few hours of walking, the girl noticed that the area they were walking in is not the way to her home

"Marcelo, what are we doing here?" she asked

"If you love her, you'd go and asked for forgiveness. Don't just suck it up and regret everything at the end. Just because she told you that it's over doesn't mean that it's over. Not when her eyes tell the exact opposite. You're a woman yourself so you should know it right? I'll go talk to Leona, so go and talk to your girlfriend. You already lost two girls in just one day so stop being a bitch and for once be brave and show her how much you love her." Marcelo said, and walk back to the street they walked in

After bidding goodbye to Marcelo, Kir knocked at the wooden door in front of her. After a few minutes, a girl whose eyes were so red from crying showed up. When she saw that it was her ex-girlfriend, she tried to close the door but Kir was fast enough to block it

"Please, just go away," she said, almost inaudible because of her tears that slowly starts to flow once again

"Baby please, just listen to me. I am sorry" Kir, pleaded

"Sorry? What good would it do to me? To us? You always got jealous and blame me when I'm close to someone but you won't allow me whenever I try to tell them about us. We always fight because of the same reason and you always say sorry. You say sorry again and again for the same reason Kir and I'm so sick of it! I didn't ask you to come out, all I ever want is for you to recognize me as your lover even just in front of your friends. Is that so much to ask?" Cassandra said, letting the tears overflow on her face. Her voice cracked in between, trying to hide the pain

"Baby, I'm sorry. I- I promise you that I'll introduce you as my partner to everyone I know. Please, just come back to me please" Kir said, letting her tears reciprocate her girlfriends

"I'm sorry too, Kir. Enough is enough, I'm done. The door is wide open for you, help yourself out" Cassandra said with coldness in her voice. Once again, she turned her back on her girlfriend and proceeded to lock herself in her room.
