Chapter 128 THE AFTERMATH

FLORENCE'S POINT OF VIEW

"Don't be stubborn in your Aunt Rylee's house, okay?" I told my brother while fixing my blazer. "You will stay there for the mean time. After we fixed our things here, we'll transfer to your Uncle's house," I added.

He nods my head. "Don't worry. I'm not a pain in their ass."

I chuckled and walked towards the couch. I ruffled his hair. "That's a good thing."

After closing the window of our room and unplugging all the appliances, we climbed downstairs. Just like the usual, I saw Aunt Cecile sipping coffee on the mini garden on the apartment.

"Good morning, Florence." Her gaze turned to Archer. "Oh, you will take your brother to your work place?" she asked.

I shook my head. "My friend will pick him up here. I will leave Archer on their house for the mean time."

Her forehead creased. "And why is that?"

I smiled reluctantly. "It's a long story, Aunt Cecile."

She nods her head. "Alright. Just take care on your way, Florence."
