Kai blinked.

He stared at his Angel.

"What?" he asked, not daring to believe what he had heard.

"Will you marry me?" Lianne repeated patiently, looking at him, and then was suddenly feeling very nervous.

She didn't know why she should be feeling nervous, considering that she knows his feelings for her and has no doubt about it. 

The longer Kai was quiet, the more unsettled her heart was. He just stood there, staring at her like a dumb fool.

Suddenly, he gave a loud whoop before grabbing her face and kissing her passionately. Lianne was flabbergasted at first before she succumbed to the kiss and began returning his passion with her own.

Kai felt like he was on top of the World. 

His Angel asked him to marry her.

His Angel wanted him by her side.

When he broke the kiss, there were tears in his eyes.

"I love you so," he said breathlessly, putting his forehead on hers.
