122 Can't Leave Me

Kyle was frowning when he put down the phone.

"Trouble?" Sam asked.

The phone call had been from Lianne, and normally, Kyle would be having this indulging, happy look on his face but this time, it was the opposite.

"Yeah," Kyle replied, his frown not getting any less, "By the name of Kai Sheng."

Sam remained silent, waiting for instructions.

What was Kyle going to do? 

Not kill, definitely. Lianne would be too sad about that. Maim? If her feelings were very strong, perhaps she wouldn't even like that.

Maybe make him disappear?

While these random thoughts floated in Sam's mind, Kyle told him, "Book out the top floor at the Hiatt tonight. Get Zero to secure the perimeters. I want absolute black-out."

Black-out here meant that the place would be impenetrable from any form of attack, be it whether one actually tries to muscle their way in, slip in, or covertly through any electronic devices.
