Settling In

In a house at the edge of Mystic Falls are two beautiful people that are slowly waking up.

"Ugh, what the hell" Violet said looking at her surroundings. While looking she sensed a person beside her and looked to find her husband.

"Huh! Liam!" She scrambled over to him and started shaking him hoping he would wake up.

He started to open his eyes and slowly sat up

"Violet?" He questioned confused

"Yep, the one and only" She said proudly

He just stared at her already used to her weird antics

"I thought we died" Liam said looking around, only to see a well furnished house.

"Me too! I guess this is what the afterlife is like?" She said unsure

Before they both could continue talking they were blinded by a bright light. After the light faded they saw a piece of paper slowly fall to the ground. Violet snatches it quickly and looks at Liam. He seems confused but nods his head indicating for her to read what's on it.

"Hi Violet and Liam! I'm what you mortals call god and I seem to have accidentally given you karma that you didn't deserve. Leading to you being betrayed and resorting to killing yourselfs"

They can literally feel the sheepish smile on his face

"In order to repay you for my mistake I brought you to the world you both seem fond of, "Vampire Diaries". My powers aren't that great when it involves other worlds so I can only send your current bodies there. The timeline is 17 years before the start of the story. Sorry!"

"No WAY" Violet yells in complete happiness

Liam is also extremely happy

"Wait! There's more" She says quickly

"Oh! I almost forgot. Nobody will find your sudden personality change weird. I erased all their memories of your current body up till a week ago. All they know is that you're a new young couple who has just moved to Mystic Falls. I also made you guys immortal. You can die from wounds but you will stay young forever. Your welcome!!! I know I'm awesome. Anyway,

Bye"

Violet and Liam are in complete shock before Violet suddenly starts spouting ideas.

"I'm so excited. We can finally have a child now that we aren't assassins anymore" She said hopefully

Liam finally realizes that they aren't in their old world and no one knows them which means they have no enemies. They can finally have the child they have always wanted. Liam stands up and embraces Violet in a hug.

"That's great!" He said happily smiling like a dufus

Suddenly he senses something strange and glances down at Violet in his arms. He gets a chill and notices an odd glint in her eyes. He is suddenly afraid and knows whenever she has that look she is up to no good.

"Violet?" He says nervously

She looks up at him with a mischievous smile.

"I have a fun idea" She said

"Wh-What's that" He said stuttering

"Well, I've always loved messing with people. I thought that we could pretend to be oblivious to the supernatural" She explained happily with an evil glint in her eyes

"Huh? That's it. I thought you were planning on killing someone" Liam said somewhat relieved

"Why? I just want to live normally this life. Anyway it is a little fun if you think about it. When we do have a child it will be the same age as the main characters so they will most likely get involved in the supernatural. Also knowing how many people become vampires in this show our child might just become one" Violet ranted smiling evilly

Liam just sighed and regretted even saying anything

"Whatever, I'll go along with your plan. First off though we need to make some cash." Liam said

"Hm… Well why don't we just become teachers" Violet suggested

Liam looked at her confused

"I thought you didn't want to get involved and being near the main cast is jumping right into it" He said

"I know what I said. Just because I don't want to be involved doesn't mean I can't interact with them. Also have you forgotten about the Mikaelsons. Rebekah will join school. I need to meet her!" Violet started fangirling

*Sigh*

"Ok ok. We should go to the school and ask for an interview, but what subject would we teach?" Liam asked

"Hm...we can't do history because of obvious reasons" She stated

Liam nodded in agreement

"Last thing we want to do is mess up the plot" He said

"I guess we can be librarians. I mean it is such a pain to actually teach things. It is a safe job that will still let us stay close to them, and we can be with our child" Violet said shivering at the thought of teaching

"I agree. Teaching would be a nightmare" Liam said also shivering

"Okay, since that's all settled let's head out" She said going to the front door

Liam nodded and walked out with her

Once they went outside they noticed they were in a secluded street and the other houses could barely be seen at the end of the street.

"Um….guess were secluded" Liam said laughing slightly

Violet nodded vigorously. Happy to be separated from others. They walked together holding hands smiling gently. Once they reached the center of town everyone was glancing at them because of how beautiful they were. They were all whispering amongst themselves about the new couple. Liam and Violet could hear them because of their years of training, but ignored them and asked the nearest person which way to the school.

When they reached the school they ignored the students questioning glances and went to the main office.

"Hi, were new in town and were wondering if you have any job openings for librarians" Violet said kindly with a smile that could make anyone listen to her

The lady at the front desk blushed looking at the two beautiful people in front of her.

"Oh um...ye-yeah. Let me get the papers" She stuttered at Violet's smile

When she came back with two forms she told them to fill it out and they will officially get the job

"What? Don't we need to do an interview" Liam asked confused

"Ah, no. All you have to do is check out the students books and put them back in the proper section" The lady explained kindly

"Oh, Thank you" They both said smiling at her

While they were filling out the forms they didn't notice the blood coming out from the blushing ladies face.

After they handed in the forms they were told they could start on Monday. Today is Friday. Violet and Liam decided to get a bite to eat at the grill. When they entered they again received many stares from the locals. They took a seat at the bar and were about to order when they heard a voice that they recognized from the show,

"Hey, you guys just moved here right"??
