CHAPTER 12: JACKIE

Jackie sat on the cream-white sofas, still trying to process the news Sarah had told her when they were outside.

Looking at the shy O'Neal who was constantly teased by Sarah, Jackie felt as if her world had been turned upside down, but when she remembered how Sarah trusted her and told her the truth, she couldn't bring herself to condemn or judge Sarah for being with a kid over a decade younger.

Jackie couldn't help but take one last look at O'Neal. The young man was a few years older than her firstborn child, and the situation was still a bit complicated in her eyes.

Finally, she turned to face Sarah, the lady she had been wanting to see for quite some time.

"Dear, you are simply too much," Jackie grumbled as she spoke to Sarah, her voice irritated, "how can you give me one bottle and then abandon me?"

"I was waiting for you to talk to me," Sarah chuckled when she heard Jackie say this, "did you enjoy using the cream?"

"I loved it," Jackie said, beaming, "you have no idea how much pain those wrinkles and spots on my back were causing me. I couldn't even wear clothes that exposed my skin, and no matter how hard I tried, the creams didn't work. You truly saved my life."

Sarah was elated to learn this. Because Jackie enjoyed it, more potential customers will likely be brought in and bless her business.

"That's okay because I brought you something much better than what I brought you. But this time, I'm not going to give it to you for free; after all, we're all in business," Sarah said slyly as she looked at Jackie.

Jackie didn't mind, because it wasn't easy for her to find something that truly worked for her. She didn't want to use the unknown cream at first because her skin is sensitive, and after experiencing allergic reactions to another cream she used a few months ago, Jackie didn't want to risk it.

But, remembering how confident Sarah had always been since the first time they met, she decided to give it a shot, and that was two weeks ago. And once she started using it, she felt terrible about procrastinating for so long.

The results were visible, and she was pleased with how her skin had improved. Although her problems were not completely resolved, she could tell that if she continued to use this cream, her skin would soon be as smooth as a baby's.

"Don't worry, don't worry. Money is not an issue in my family. Just give it to me, but how many different kinds do you have?" Jackie couldn't help but inquire about Sarah.

O'Neal remained silent and watched as the two ladies discussed business as if he weren't there.

In the end, Sarah persuaded Jackie to buy three premium cream bottles and five regular cream bottles.

Despite the fact that the premium creams weren't completely packed, she was able to obtain a few bottles for Jackie. Jackie wired the funds to the bank account Sarah had given her.

Jackie also promised to share the business page link with her friends so that they could buy the cream from Sarah officially.

For two hours, Sarah and Jackie shared snacks and beverages while talking about various topics. They also invited Sarah to a tea party that would be held in only one week.

Although the invitation had arrived a little late, Sarah was unconcerned because she could still attend.

Jackie was upset as she watched Sarah drive away, but she felt better when she remembered the cream bottles that were waiting for her inside the house.

"Your friend is wonderful!" As he watched Sarah drive, O'Neal said.

"Yes, she is very lively and a good person," Sarah replied with a smile, "her eldest child is a girl who will soon begin university."

When O'Neal heard that, his eyes lit up, and he couldn't stop talking about school, and it wasn't long before they arrived at the shopping mall.

Sarah was at the shopping mall wearing a simple silk dress with a pair of trousers that weren't too tight and allowed for a lot of movement.

She was wearing sandals, and her beautiful toenails were adorned with cream nail polish. The jingle of the metal anklet could be heard from time to time. Her face was still hidden behind a veil that matched the color of her dress.

Her hair was tied in a ponytail, and she wore simple hair ornaments. She was holding a handbag containing the car keys, the phone, and the wallet containing the bank cards.

Sarah took O'Neal shopping and bought him some daily necessities, such as electronic appliances, a cell phone that was reasonably priced, and a laptop.

She took him to buy some clothes after that because she didn't want him to continue wearing the clothes he was wearing while working at that club.

O'Neal carried all the bags because he couldn't let Sarah carry them for him. The two returned to the car and placed the bags in the boot. Sarah stopped by a real estate agency after their shopping trip to drop off her request before bringing O'Neal back to the farm.

Back at the farm, O'Neal went to his room to pack his clothes, and Sarah went to her study to see if there had been any changes to the DEW BEAUTY online store page.

She was astounded when she logged in. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. She checked her inbox and clicked her tongue as she read the messages sent to her by ARABBIT.

[Is this true?]

[Why does this appear to be a forgery?]

[I'm going to buy one, and if I find out you cheated on me, I'm going to report you and expose you as a swindler!]

There were so many of these messages that Sarah thought the sender was adorable. ARABBIT ordered two bottles of 400ml bottles, which demonstrated that this person was not a pauper but a wealthy individual.
